I just sent in everything to the NVC yesterday and am now waiting. Hoping it’s not the horrible 3 month wait people keep mentioning nowadays.

told me it’s in Texas.
 
Unfortunately, Texas is slowest at the moment and currently taking an average of like 11 months.

Yep, I tried doing the same and can confirm it doesn't work currently. 

Good luck! We are PD 2/26/21 and active review as of 5/12/21 (Texas). 

Decided to follow your example and file I-129F today. Can't hurt us, so why not go for that too  even if it somehow sheds the time by a few weeks only, it will still be worth it.

Doesn't look too good for Texas. Average processing time on both USCIS and VisaJourney keeps slowing down unfortunately...

Haha well I just went into my case and added some new pictures. We’ll see if something happens!

Where did you check these times? You mean the VisaJourney member data or? 

Ah man, I really hope we will get news soon, so many things depend on it for us... Only concerning factor for me is that I have not seen someone approved in Texas on these discussion boards in a while... And on VisaJourney it shows that now they are approving mostly Oct-Nov applications. 

I really hope that's the case for us too. We have been in active review since 5/12/21 but Texas seems to be moving superrrr slow lately, so I am not too optimistic. This new info regarding the background check kindasparked the mood for us now haha

It's funny that the agent told me that and then later when I asked another agent, he said "We cannot disclose information regarding background checks" haha so inconsistent. But now that I have this new info, I just wish I knew what it means regarding timeline.

Thanks a lot  well the uscis agents all told me that I now follow Texas processing times (8.5-10m), however I definitely don’t think these times are too precise. For example, I’ve seen many Vermont applications get approved super quick. I like to think it’s lotssss of luck and good fortune involved

I am a resident of Illinois but my wife and I live overseas in Europe, so I’m pretty sure the online application was randomly transferred to Texas.
