David and AV reacted to DSBeijing in March 2021 K1 I-129F filers
3rd January 2020 was last time I saw my fiance.
And since i work and live in China, i wont be able to se her untill we get approved, since china requires 3 Week quarantine when entering the country from abroad (I have 22 days of vacation per year, she has 25 days in US), so it makes visits impossible, since we would literally see each other 1-2 days and i would have to go back to China immediately, and since i am not Chinese Citizen i would have to pray that i don't have any issues when entering back to China (many colleges had issues).
And uscis wait times are getting worse and worse. We will probably see each other in second half of 2022, since processing is grounded to halt

I mean, everything and the kitchen sink has been floated around. Veterans of the forum have pointed out that I-129F processing does fluctuate and is no stranger to taking a year to complete, but I just think it's really, really low priority right now. USCIS has a lot of stuff on their plate and we're, unfortunately, not seen as that important. My only concern is that it's never been this bad; right now nobody's had to wait a year, but looking at the numbers, it's only obvious that processing 16 March cases a day is going to really mess everything up. There's 3,000 of us left, the math is simple.

My fiance and I have been waiting nearly 10 months for an adjudication to our case (submitted in February 2021). We know other couples like us who have been apart for over a year now and our lives are on an indefinite pause. We have lost so much time, so many opportunities for making memories, forming a strong bond as a family, opportunities to travel around the USA, to establish roots, to live as free citizens. Think about all of the other struggling couples who have lost time and perhaps gave up on the process all together or decided not to immigrate to the US at all. It is not only a loss for us, but also a loss for America. -

I just got my text from USCIS!!!
The sucky thing is it says they received my petition March 3rd, even though I sent it on Feb 16th overnight... I paid for overnight so I had one less day to wait, but it seems that was pointless.
I'm guessing my NOA1 will backdate to March 3. I'm really hoping to get this whole process done by Christmas!

I'll post an update when I hear anything from USCIS or when I see the filing fee check has been cashed.
So far, I mailed my I-129f packet on February 16th (with form G-1145 attached). At the same time I sent my fiancé an exact replica to Australia (with some extras :) ). She received it March 10th.
So, there are a little over 3 weeks left until I hit 60 days processing time. Does anyone know if your I-129f will appear in the myUSCIS account? I found this site to file an e-request but not sure how the lockbox communicates with USCIS.

I sent my packet in February 16th via USPS priority express mail. I'm still waiting patiently for a notification. Seeing the other February filers receive their texts gives me hope!
