Just got our letter as well interview May 13!

That is great news! I have seen a few posts from those completing there interviews which is great progress. Still no movement on CR1s from what I have seen, me and my wife are converting to IR1 next week and the week after that will mark two full years from the day we started this process. I remain hopeful that the time waiting is coming to an end and soon we will all have our interview dates!

Have you been seeing actual CR1’s get interview letters for May? The few I have seen get the interview letters have all be IR1, my application turns to IR1 in April. I’m just wondering if they are pushing the the IR1 letters first, because I saw one June IR1 get a letter and one May letter but one that is CR1 in May not get a letter yet.

That is my thinking as well that next month will be June. Even though it’s another month of waiting to hope for it to move forward, it is good to see some kind of movement in February and March.

Thanks for the update! I agree with your hypothesis, I will make one note that a cr1/ir1 applicant in a DQ Facebook group stated that his DQ date was May 29th. So hopefully those like myself that were DQ in June will start getting some letters. But while it has taken forever to get a IL I am at least happy to see some kind of movement after months of silence.

The Utah Online Marriage is valid for all those items you listed. My marriage with Filipino wife is Legal in Philippines and United States. Though getting the Report of Marriage completed is quite a journey on its own. I made a post about my process that you can utilize or share for others to utilize. I had no issues in the entire process, like everything in the Philippines don’t expect it to be done in a month. hope this helps!

I am a government employee. Currently I am making over 60,000 from that position, but I also work part time at an auto supply store. So depending on how much I work my income fluctuates between 68,000 - 72,000.

Finally received my DQ yesterday and received the email. However when I checked my application I also noticed that I received a RFE saying I do not meet the income requirements. I am a little confused because I overwhelmingly meet the income requirements for my wife. I also provided multiple years of tax transcripts and current pay stubs. Has anyone experienced this? Is this issue settled at the interview? thank you all for your assistance.

That is discouraging to hear since I am currently working on our documents and DS-260 for submission. Though it I have looked at the visa statistics for April which just came out yesterday and they issued 200 plus IR/CR visas in April, so they are conducting interviews. They are also still scheduling visa interviews for K1 visas, so it does not make any sense that though visas would come before immigrant visas. So the only thing to do is wait and see and hope for the best. The NVC has been moving a lot faster in my experience than the processing times on the website suggest, I am hoping this will be the case with the interview process as well.

I reached out to USCIS yesterday and discovered that my application had been transferred back to the Texas Service Center. I also reached out to my congressman and they told me they received word that there inquiry was routed to the TSC and was being investigated. This all happened yesterday and when I checked my application this morning it was approved! NOA1 - May 6th, 2022 NOA2 - May 12th, 2023

That is an interesting update, did they go into detail if it was only CR1 visas being postponed? Because there are quiet a few K1 visa interviews taking place in June and July from what I have seen.

There is couple that has and interview scheduled for June updated on their timeline. I would reach out to them and see if they have had any issues.

Called USCIS yesterday and found out my case was transferred to Nebraska from Texas. I also noticed from other posts that a lot of people’s processing tab on the account page is working, mine has always been blank so I asked the agent and they said IT will reach out to me within 7 days. I am curious if they get it working if the timeframe will be accurate.

First I called the consulate and they gave me the transmittal details and date that they sent the ROM to DFA. I took those details and emailed the Office of Consular Affairs at this email address oca.crd@dfa.gov.ph. They replied within two days with the details and date they sent the ROM to PSA. So we asked our niece to go to the main PSA office in Quezon City to request the copy and provided them the details from the Office of Consular Affairs. We were told to call or email within seven days to retrieve our documents. I sent emails to crs.qvu3@psa.gov.ph, crs.qvu2@psa.gov.ph and crs.qvu1@psa.gov.ph. They emailed within two days telling us we could pick up our PSA Marriage Certificate from the Quezon City Office. Timeline: August 26th, 2022 - San Francisco Consulate Registers ROM September 9, 2022 - Consulate transmits the document to DFA November 25, 2022 - DFA transmits document to PSA February 22, 2023 - Received PSA Certified ROM from Quezon City Office

Update: We finally received our PSA copy of the marriage certificate. Yesterday from the main PSA office in Quezon City. Once we got the transmittal information from the Department of Foreign Affairs and reached out to PSA we were told to wait 7 days and call or email for an update. When we reached out to the PSA by email after 7 days they responded by saying they would reply to my email in another 7 days. Finally they replied back finally after 5 days and told us that our document was finally ready for pickup.

Have an update on this ROM journey. After getting our transmittal details from the consulate, I reached out to the office of consular affairs and they replied rather quickly and was able to inform me that my application was sent to the PSA on November 25, 2022. They instructed in the email that if you want to receive your PSA ROM soon after they have sent it to the PSA you have to go to the main branch in Quezon City. We are having a family member go to that office on Tuesday, so I will update the group if we are successful. They did mention in the email that requesting documents from the PSA via online as the consulate recommends may take longer as the documents may not be in the database.

Our ROM application was approved on August 26th and transmitted on September 9th. My wife went to the local PSA in General Santos and they don’t have a record of it as of now. Since the consulate website says 6 months to a year, we will try again in March.

Hello everyone, I am looking for any assistance that can be provided in helping me fill out my taxes for me and my wife who currently lives in the Philippines. We were married in April of 2022 and currently waiting on our I-130 application. From my own research, the best course seems to file jointly, but that requires my wife to have a ITIN. If I file separately it seems I have to file a paper return and put NRA in the SSN line. If anyone has been through this process, any help or advice would greatly be appreciated.

Need some clarification from anyone who has completed the ROM at the San Francisco consulate for Utah Zoom Marriage. Is the affidavit of explanation required? My wife has tried to get an affidavit from the lawyers office who will be her notary and they will not provide unless we are both at the law office together. However they will notarize her ROM application without me being present. Any help would be very much appreciated.
