So after the interview if a case has been verbally “approved” it will show Administrative Processing before it shows issued. All cases do have to undergo a final look over before visas are issued.
If they were truly awaiting a document from you & you received a 221G paper it would’ve shown as “Refused” , then “Administrative Processing” after receiving and reviewing the documents, then finally “Issued”. -

since all children are suppose to be listed on an F2, then no,, they are already on the petitionspo
the spouse visa dq would not change but the USC may want to hold up the NVC process to allow a child's petition to catch up with the parent
hope that helps
The person is already DQ’d unfortunately so it seems that yes it would change the DQ date

This new derivative will require to upload some documents and these documents need to be reviewed by NVC. Once these news documents are reviewed and DQ, this new DQ date will be the one used for interview, not the first one from 2021. So, if there is a DQ from 2021 and a new DQ from 2022, then the latest one is used for the priority for interview.
This is exactly what i was thinking

you can not add a derivative child to a CR1/IR1 visa
only to to a F2 done by a LPR
the child needs his/her own I 130 petition with ALL supporting evidence
I know that already. I’m not talking about my case exactly. In general does it change the DQ date

Does adding an accompanying derivative child to my case at NVC change DQ date?

Just to update you guys that following my case here, my case status has changed from READY to ADMINISTRATIVE-PROCESSING on September 02 2022
When it says Adminstrative Processing that’s when they really are actively working on the case, it shouldn’t take long for it to change to issued

Yes from what ive read everyone has said we go back to the end of the queue and it’s between 3 to 4 months to get reviewed again. This process is seriously flawed.
a lot of people Have said that they weren’t sent back to the end of the Q after responding to RFEs. It’s just luck at this point

Congratualtions, great hear this working out for your so quickly, it's VERY rare, alsmot unheard of for a RFE response to get reviewed so quickly, What was your original Submission Date?
It’s actually not rare at all lol. at the NVC stage it seems to happen a lot

I'm really confused the logic behind this - can someone explain? So K3 is a nonimmigrant spousal visa, yes? - (Assumingly for 90 days like K1?) - so are people applying for these in hopes it will get approved before the green card and the spouse can stay in the U.S. while they continue to wait for green card processing? Or are there rumors submitting this nudges your I-130 along? I've seen a lot of chitchat about this on here and still not fully understand why anyone would bother hahaha
They’re hoping it nudges the i130. & there’s no filing fee so why not?

August 24 submission of documents, applicant's docs reviewed today (14 Nov) with RFE (birth certificate and police clearance). My docs (petitioner's) still not reviewed.
Oh wow mine were submitted the 19th and i havent received anything
-
You have to have connections for these type of things in order for you to get things in a timely matter. My husband also had to get his mother’s name corrected on his birth certificate we got it done in under a month

I recently submitted my documents at NVC - DS260, AOS and civil documents. I did not get a confirmation email saying all required documents are submitted and my case is in line at NVC for review. My ceac screen looks like below. Did you guys get a confirmation email after all your required documents were submitted? Can I consider my case to be in line for review? Am I missing something? How do you guys make sure that your case is in line for review at NVC? Thanks!
That’s really all you see until they notify you that you are DQ or if you receive a RFE. Till then you are good to go
-
That’s not the case all the time, there have been many others who have responded to an RFE and got DQ in days . The whole process is wonky
-
Submitted Aug 19 just waiting so close but so far
-
You have to complete “AOS” as an “Affidavit of Support” showing that the petitioner makes enough to support the beneficiary.
“AOS” as in Adjustment of Status doesn’t apply to you -
CR1
Sent Request: 8/23
Acknowledged & Under Review:8/24
Denied 9/1 .
I’ll try again in a month. I’m so tired of Haiti 🤦🏽♀️ -

I was told expedite requests are handled by a different team than the team that answers calls. May be your call reached one of them. I am hoping I get a response at least this week. My father needs to undergo a brain surgery. I sent my request on 7/28. Still nothing.
I’m so sorry to hear that, it’s been 30 days the under review email says if you don’t hear from them within 30 days to follow up in another email, I’m not sure if you should or not

I thought it takes about 1 month and 3 weeks for NVC to send the under review email these days.
I’m not sure that’s what i was reading too in here. I did Call before submitting mine and the rep said she would be keeping an eye out for it I’m not sure about if that had any effect on it 🤷🏽♀️

Definitely add at the embassy. Bring all documents for the child, fill out/update the i864 and everything
