This is why I post my concerns in this group because you all are so amazing about helping me find clarity in a situation I’m confused about! I don’t mean to sound like a Debbie Downer, I just wasn’t quite understanding what was happening. Even though we filed in November 2022, I’m recently trying to pay more attention to numbers and it’s so confusing lol! But wow yes, from 200 a week to now 800 a week is an AMAZING improvement! I need to continue to be more optimistic so thank you for helping me look at the bright side of this! ❤️

So I’m just looking for clarity. When the numbers for the cases processed is calculated, it includes RFE’s right? I saw on the master list post that if you don’t include RFE’s (which don’t play a role in reducing backlog) that the total number of cases processed only hit a little over 700 last week. This is disheartening 🙁

Correct me if I’m wrong, but RFE’s do play a role in backlog, no? Would this further delay any improvement in timeline because they have to wait for a response from the petitioner and then take the time to re-review the documentation? I’m curious because I know a woman that ended up with a total of an 18 month wait from NAO1 to NAO2 because it took about 2 months for her to hear back from submitting the required documents from her RFE. On the other hand I’ve seen someone with a 13.9 month wait from NAO1 to NAO2 with no RFE.

My friend that received hers got it just one day shy of 14 months! She filed 12/3/2021 got it 2/2/2023!

It’s insane! It’s also weird because the friend of mine that received her NAO2 yesterday was able to access hers with no issues. Makes me wonder!

A friend of mine got her NAO2 today. Her NAO1 was received on December 3, 2021! She was a day shy of 14 months! Progress is progress 🤞🏾

I always wonder how that works. Makes me fearful my case would be “forgotten” and someone who filed after me would get their approval first. I’ve seen that happen too and I’m sure that’s so frustrating. Of course, I know, every case is different but it’s slightly unsettling to know it could happen.

Yeah girl it sure was Vermont. I was looking a little more closely. It’s definitely odd for sure. She’s in the K-1 Visa-Visa Journey group. The one with the Stars and Stripes as the cover photo.
