    Just looked again and there was a note made to the side that said there was a snow storm. That’s probably the reason for lower numbers. Hope they are all staying safe.

    Yeah that’s why I said I am hopeful for the rest of the week, still 🙂. I have no clue what goes on there and can’t imagine what it’s like to be a worker there trying to clear the backlog, but I’m human so naturally I get slightly bummed when I see a lower number of cases processed in a day than I’ve seen in a while.

    I noticed only 59 cases were processed yesterday 😩. Still remaining hopeful for the rest of the week!

    Mine has been that way for about 2 weeks as well along with many others I have seen in different Facebook groups.

    I wish we could do something to keep motivating them to move like this, like take them out to dinner or buy them all coffee 😂❤️

    Even though we don’t have a date, we already know we are doing an intimate local beach destination wedding with very few friends and close family. We only want people there that genuinely supported our relationship this whole time. We already know what event planner will host it and the money is saved, we just need a date! Once AOS is finished, we will do a traditional ceremony in his home country in Gambia.

    My fiancé and I hadn’t even thought of one but nowwwwww that’s going to change 😂😂. I can not wait!! I want to go wedding dress shopping like YESTERDAY 😂

    It’s not as good as it has been BUT they are still processing more cases than they once were. I was bummed about the numbers earlier today, too, but another member reminded me that they are still processing cases at a better rate overall. I think it’s inevitable that the numbers will vary week to week, but the overall picture still looks promising.

    That’s what I love about this community. It’s full of people who help you see the silver lining in every situation! I didn’t think about it like that, so you are absolutely right that it’s about perspective lol. This makes me feel a lot better, thank you!

    Forgive me but I am so confused right now. Are processing times officially going to go down to 14.6 months? When I checked on the site it still said 15.5?

    The next time I’m asked if I have a hobby I’ll simply respond “ahh yes, I’m really into waiting these days” 🤣

    So pretty much we just need to wait and see at this point.

    The moderator in one of the groups I am in said that USCIS data shows that as of September the back log was at 55,425. I wonder how much that has changed.
