I see they are reverting back to the 2008 test, if you have an interview before April you have the option to take either the 2020 or 2008 test.  My interview will be after this, so I will be studying for the 2008 Test, it has half the questions to memorize. 

For the sake of your sanity, pay zero attention to the estimated time. It has been proven to have absolutely no correlation to actual dates. You will end up driving yourself nuts by fretting over changes to that date   

Received my NOA for Biometrics dated 02/12/2021. Biometrics Waived. Estimated time of Case completion History: Jan 2022 -> Oct 2021 -> Jan 2022. Still shows Jan 2022.

Saw the Biometrics reuse letter in the documents section of the online application. Nothing in physical form yet.
 
...and as soon as I open the document, a winter miracle happened: case completion went from January 2022 to October 2021!

Like passport pictures? I dont think they are required for natrualization. I didnt see them on the application.

I think USCIS has just updated its processing times again, so it could be a result of that.  However, looking at other people's timelines and other N400 threads, this "estimated completion date" seems to have become quite the moving target in 2020 anyway.  Part of me wants to be all reasonable here and say something along the lines of "let's not stress it", but I know first hand how hard that is.  I have to tell myself every day that it will take as long as it takes, that USCIS will do what it wants anyway, and that there is literally nothing I can do.  Seriously, USCIS has taught me so much patience...

Thank you. I just checked today on the website and just saw the letter saying they will reuse my biometrics, status still stays the same

I had my biometrics appointment yesterday and everything and it went good, but the status of my case hasn’t changed from “Biometrics appointment has been scheduled”, I suppose its going to stay like this until there is another change on the case. 

Colder states like MI and MA, the officers stay indoor and get busy and therefore the processing becomes faster. But the warmer ones like CA, NV and WA, they go outside more often for the break and can not sit behind their desk for long time as weather calls them out for hanging out and this creates more delay.

Yes it was a paper application, for the fee waiver they dont alow online filing. I did'nt  file a Forn G-1145 with it, I did not see that option on the USCIS. I must have missed it. But I do recall the form for my Green card application. On my status on the USCIS website they said they sent me an email, but I never recieved it. I only knew they had gotten my application and accepted the waiver when I got the letter in the mail. But I was able to now add the paper application to my USCIS profile. From the time they sent my NOA1 to me recieving it was 10 days. The mail has been very slow. 

Today I finally got some good news. A NOA1 and an acceptance for the fee to be waived Priority date is 12/22/2020 and expected to take 10 months!
