Try again hopefully it falls in the hand of someone else that’s more empathetic 

This process is becoming very frustrating , its like your so close but yet very far. I'm a shy person so I just read mainly thru the thread which as helped a lot with knowing what's going on with the process and the stages of where the Embassy is. So I don't know if my post will matter but seeing the recent conversations I'm like let me share my experience. My husband had an appt. for 9/22 , I wanted to attend , my job barely wanted me to leave due to it being busy with COVID , but I was given time off to go to JA, went to quarantine for the 14 days, I saw the conversations about appts being cancelled and part of me wanted to email them if the appt would still happen but I decided to wait and see. He did his medical 9/10 and 2 days after we receive the cancellation email. I sent them something letting them know this was the only time I was given to travel for the year due to my job and basically got a email saying the appts. going forward have been cancelled and regret any inconvenience. Husband emailed them without me knowing letting them know its getting me depressed and basically got the same response. I saw their FB Live at one point saying its good when the spouse is there at the interview. So I'm like ok I'm here let me email them again this was after the interview date past ,to see when would appointments be resumed because I saw they were doing K1(which I mentioned in the email) and I told them again this was the only time I am able to travel for the year and that I had to leave 10/3 and basically got back what's attached in the picture for that, so its really frustrating that some people didn't have theirs cancelled while the ones that were cancelled have to wait till however long. Right now seeing how the holidays are coming up I'm just thinking that's going to cause more delays. This process is driving me crazy I swear every ding I hear for my email I'm rushing to see if its them. Hopefully their few weeks means soon before it hits the holidays in November. 

I’m sorry I don’t even know how to set up this time line , however the interview was for my husband. His priority date was September 25, 2019. His i130 got approved June 4 2020, dq July 8. Interview was October 2 and medical September 24. The embassy sent an email canceling interview the same day as the medical. I emailed the embassy numerous times explaining my medical condition, I emailed Kingstoniv and appointments and I got back all generic replies at first then an actual person emailed saying to contact nvc if I wanted to be expedited. This seems as if it was a hassle and long process plus I had to get a letter from my doctor but fortunately my husband received a call from them the next day to come in oct 1. He said their wasnt a lot of plp just 2 others I think. They only took the police record and asked him a few questions.
1. When we met 
2. Who proposed and when 
3. If we had kids and age
4. when was the last time I went to Jamaica and how long I stayed.
5. How many times he came here to see me and how long he stayed.   
 
I can’t remember what else but I think that’s it, they didn’t ask for any pics or no other paperwork . He also said it seems the officer was in training . They said they didn’t receive his medical yet, they cancelled his visitors visa and told him they will send the passport with courier service once medical is received and ok I guess. That’s where we at and that’s the entire process.  So We still waiting, I don’t consider nothing confirmed until he gets his passport back.

I heard they were onboarding new COs because some of the older ones are on final duty so this makes sense and could be another reason for the delays and cancellations. They want to get all the COs ramped up before bringing ppl back in mass.

I am in in Pembroke pines. 10  minutes from Miami and Fort Lauderdale (in the middle). I don't care distance once this thing is over i will travel to .
 
Also my hubby is really young so he will need friendship. I am old as f but welcome friendships. What do you think

Kmt I lost hope I lost faith me and my husband had many plans for thanksgiving thought I would be there by then. So things change good thing I will see him soon hopefully I get back a date when he's here.

Thanks he went already, but they still didn’t receive his medical they kept his passport though and cancelled his visitors visa. They said they will get back to us when they receive his medical so hopefully that’s it . I don’t know I’m just waiting and hoping that this is over . Don’t know if you guys have heard any situation like this or what happened after, regardless I’ll keep you guys posted.

Omg 😳 that’s crazy. Jesus noooooo, if they have a visitors visa can they use it in the mean time? And that’s crazy cause police certificate and the medical all gonna expire by them.  🤦🏽‍♀️

Me too..they sending me messages and its from kingston embassy so am praying hard they don't cancel October .

I’m confused guys so you think they might not cancel October appointments ? I pray not 🙏.

“If” it’s due to the ending of the fiscal year!! Then most likely they will not cancel! October is the start of a new fiscal year in the USA... so let us pray that it’s only due to that!! But we don’t know that 100% 🙏🏽🤞

Good afternoon everyone. Yesterday was overwhelming for me so I took a step back to gather my thoughts and come to terms with this inevitable. I received the cancellation notice this afternoon. Totally disheartening to say the least but I just have to accept it and look to the next steps. So let the waiting game begin 💪🏾Hopefully things will turnaround soon🙏🏾. Congrats again to everyone who made it thru thus far. Fly out soon cause as you can see things are ever changing. Chin up everyone else. We're gonna get thru this too.

I am so sorry to see these cancellations. I hope that all those directly affected will keep the faith. Let us pray together as a Visajourney family that the spike in Jamaica will cease soon and normalization will be restored. Let us do all that we can to keep ourselves and loved ones safe and not contribute to the current Covid-19 cases. I know it must be disheartening to be so close but so far away, please keep the faith as this is temporary and everyone will reunite with their loved ones soon. 

I agree , I just called for my husband and I got the same reply. Will call back again on Monday or Tuesday.

Don't worry most of us got that same response. Call again on Monday if you haven't heard anything. Embassy is slow to send over names 🤦🏾‍♀️ I didn't get mine till 3 or 4 days after and remember Monday was a holiday.

been reading everybody’s post  for the past two weeks. Haven’t commented but have found a lot of post helpful. So I decided to share my info. My husband got dq July 8 and at 2am , we got an email with an interview date for October 2. Which is strange because it’s labor  Day and it’s 2am. Hope this is helpful to any one who is waiting.
