Received my passport in mail today. Old generation. I applied on 1/31 at usps and opted for routine(non-expedited) service.

I had all my original docs what I uploaded in my USCIS account. Officer asked me only DMV, passport and tax transcript. English reading writing test happened followed by six questions. Don't remember any now. Then Yes/No questions. Officer approved it right there. Brought my cert and made me take oath in his office.  He was very professional and nice. Contrasting to what I read here, officer told me to update the SSA first then DMV and then passport application. I did exactly the way he said. My passport is under process now and I will be done. Overall, great experience.

My oath  ceremony  is scheduled  for 9 November final step. N-400  was the shortest  on my  time line  i hope you all get there  sooner 🙏because  the waiting  was not fun.

My interview went  nice  the officer and everyone who works  there is very polite.
I was hoping the oath ceremony  going to be today but they  have to schedule it for other day. We are almost  there 🙏

Biometrics happened on Oct. 8th. Reached in advance and allowed in. Empty hall. I was the first one to enter. In and out in record 5 minutes. Very nice & professional staff. Got pocket study guide and good luck for the exam. Interview scheduled for Nov. 16. Gotta start studying now

So today ended my journey with USCIS - I became a US Citizen.
 
In terms of timeline, I submitted the application on February 5 2021.  Biometrics were conducted July 2021.  And interview (and oath ceremony) was today at the Charlotte Field Office.
 
For reference, I was a Diversity Lottery winner so I had to wait five years to apply.  My life in the US has been reasonably boring (lived in the same place, worked at the same employer, no misdemeanours or tickets etc), but I did divorce my ex-husband.
 
Can't speak highly enough of the Charlotte Field Office.  They have just nailed their processes - I was in and out within 2 hours - interview and oath included.

Interview: Nov 9th 2021.

You are most welcome! Thank you for encouraging words. While I was feeling so low yesterday night, said a prayer and slept....god heard me. Checked my account in the morning and found biometrics notice scheduled for October 10th. Gosh!! Can you believe that? said a prayer again. Thank you god!! Every little movement feels like a success and one step closer to finish the process. Its so amazing how we are connected coz of the same purpose.

Thank you Cinnamon once again. I saw that form attached on the second page. I will definitely remember to keep it ready. You see....small tips like these are so critical to save from the hassle. I filed on July 23rd. Biometrics on October 8th. Will see when the interview happens....may be a month from biometrics....I feel so much  better today with this rough calculation. Thank god!

I did go to the biometric  appointment  today about  an hour  after  we left  the center  i find out  they  did  schedule interview for October  20. Its faster than  i thought  im very  happy  Keep  hanging there my people  on this page  who waiting  for this jurny to  be  over  ☺

I agree, it's bittersweet. I have vacation planned for September praying not to have date clashes with bio appt and vacation. We also live almost two and half hours away from USCIS office. Wish if they could just reuse my bio. These things are simply out of our hands.

Yes today  i get email  they did  scheduled my bio for September 8.  Since  its two hours  drive  for us to uscis  i was wishing reuse  but its what  it  is .Hope  you  will  hear  from  them soon .

There is no need to be worried about, everything unanswered can be fixed at the interview, just mentioned it right before your interview starts, and a lot of good luck!!! 

Thanks for sharing bsd058. I hope that's the  case. Also, the system confirmed that I answered all questions and allowed me to submit the form so I feel its a glitch. Hopefully it will not have have any detrimental effect on our processing times and we will be able to point that out  during our interviews. 

I noticed the same thing on mine. It might be a system glitch. I put that my wife was married 1 time (to me) and it left it blank on the pdf version.

Good Morning,
We received a notice that our biometrics will be reused that was on the 2nd,today we got another update that an interview has been scheduled for the 16th of September  my wife is very excited

During my N400 biometrics, I was also given study guide for the citizenship test 

Just had my biometrics that was scheduled for August 17th 2021 (11am) done. Status says USCIS is actively reviewing my case🤪🤪🤪
