As a US citizen, you can file an I-130 petition for your brother. Currently, it takes about 15 years for a USC to bring a sibling to the US. This is his only path to immigrate to the US based on what you have told us about him.
But can he stay in the US during that whole time?

Hello Everyone, I will try to keep it as short as possible.
I am a US Citizen and my eldest brother is a UK Resident (will apply for UK passport) and currently a Pakistani Citizen. He lives in London. Cutting the story short. We just lost our mother to sudden brain hemorrhage couple of days ago and we lost our dad when we were very young. So, my brother applied for a B2 visitors visa to come to the US to me. The intent was NEVER to stay in the US, he just wanted to visit for emotional support for him and I. But now we realize that we really really need each other. He lives alone in London and I live here with my other brother. We all were very attached to our mom (she was a dad and a mom to us) and coming from a Pakistan family one can imagine how emotional we can be.
He really would to like to live in the US permanently. I cannot explain in words but we really need each other especially he needs us.
This forum has guided me a lot and I would really appreciate some honest opinions and suggestions from y'all. (besides him marrying a US Citizen)
Thank you so much

I scheduled an appointment at USPS after I my oath. There was an opening two days later at the closest USPS so I booked that one. I did expedited and I got the book and card back about two weeks later (two separate envelopes a day apart). However, I am still waiting on the naturalization certificate to be mailed back. I hope they return it soon! It's very expensive and time consuming to replace.
When did your Passport show as "Mailed"?
I did expedited on 30th March, it changed to "In-Process" on 2nd April. No new update since then, now I am doubting if it will come in 2 weeks.

I will do it Today or Tomorrow from CVS, hopefully they will do good job..
IMO Walgreens takes better photos for passport. I went to CVS first but they didn't do a good job, so I then went to Walgreens. It might be that particular CVS though, they were really busy that day and the manager had to take my picture, so it might be that.

@lobo2000Here is a link to the Proof of Identity list (if one does not have a state ID or Drivers License) You may have to click on the (+ sign) to expand and read the Primary items and Secondary items - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/identification.html
Additionally, regarding the color of ink to be used, the instructions for DS-11 states "Please Print Legibly Using Black Ink Only"
Thank you so much!
It does states Certificate Of Naturalization as a Primary ID, so she can just use that for Proof of ID as well.

Hey everyone, my mom does not have an ID Or Drivers License, on the passport application it says to bring a Proof Of Identity. What is she suppose to take then along with Naturalization Certificate ?
Also is there a requirement to fill the Passport application with a certain color ink?

Can anyone please guide me what documents do I have to take to the oath ceremony?
Also what documents to the Passport Office (Post Office) for applying for Passport?
Thanks!

Interview on 2nd February and still the Oath is not scheduled yet. Is it because of the weather conditions we had or need to wait more for the Oath to be scheduled?
I know @bzbee had his interview in Feb too. Is your Oath scheduled yet?

Finally done with Immigration process. Had my last interaction with USCIS yesterday for Oat ceremony and now I am official US citizen. Thank you all for helping me to get through this! Now that I am US citizen, my next plan is to apply for US passport. What documents need to be submitted, Original Naturalization certificate, 2 passport size picture, checking account fees of $110 along with DS-11 that's it? Can I pay through my checking account cheque book instead of paying through money order or bank draft of $110?
Did anyone recently applied for US passport in pandemic? How long would it take to get the passport and original Naturalization certificate back?
I would also like to know about how to apply for passport.

How long is it taking for them to schedule Oath Ceremony after Interview nowadays for Dallas?

We received our notice today. Oath is scheduled for March 12th at the 6500 Campus Cir location
Does the Status changes from "Oath will be scheduled" To "Oath is scheduled" ? Does it remain the same and they just upload the ceremony letter?

Got scheduled and then cancelled on 12/22. Waiting since then. The ceremony is held inside the USCIS irving office.
I wonder why they cancelled it. What about other people who had their interviews recently, are they now waiting for oath ceremonies for Dallas/Irving?
