Thanks, we just have to forge ahead. Persevere and hopefully just have a nice story to tell in the end. Hang in there!
Thank you so much. To you, too!

MyUSCIS says expedite has been received and completed but no decision; whether approved or rejected. I-765 status still says "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". I-485 has "Ready to be scheduled for interview". Don't get me wrong, I've spoken to agents that seem to really care but the Tier 2 I spoke to really lacked empathy.
That’s exactly what’s going on with mine. Even more frustrated 4 days ago I received « we have take an action on your case » the next day it was just an update on my DOB. I’m so frustrated.

I filed for an expedite on 10/22. No results as of today. I already missed the 12/11 deadline on my job offer. Exasperated is an understatement in describing how I feel right now.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m in the same boat as you.

Same thing here, I requested for expedite more than 3 weeks ago. I sent them the documents and mothing has happened since then. Absolutely frustrating and unfair. My PD is May/06.
Waaaw i thought I was the only one. That’s crazy I’m extremely frustrated.

Are you saying they didn’t ask you for any evidence to expedite?
Yes!

I just filed for expedited ead yesterday. PD 7/9. No action since filing.
I think you have to wait at least 5 days and you should not take in consideration the weekend. Maybe you will have an answer soon or a better experience. They didn’t ask for any RFE.

Guys, I made an expedite for my EAD. I didn’t receive any RFE. Few days later I got an email saying we have take action on your case and my case is under review and nothing since then. Please does anyone here experienced the same situation?

After the fingerprints we got the email stating "action taken" then around 5 days later it showed up in the online account. Same happened for the ready to schedule interview and interview scheduled. I got another email after that about three weeks ago and nothing has shown online.
Thank you so much. What I meant to say is after how you have received that message they took a proper action. I expedite my I-765 and I-131 I didn’t receive any RFE. Few days later I got an email that my case I-131 is under review and the next day early in the morning that “we have take action on your case”. I called a tier one and I apparently I can’t expedite because my case is already under review. Therefore I’m very confuse by the term and how long it usually takes for them to approved someone.

Hi everyone. Please I need help.
i filed for an expedite request on my I-765 on December 2nd and I didn’t receive any letter, RFE or update. On the December 7th I made a request for evidence for my I-131. I got an email stating that my case is currently under review and the next day we have taken action on your case. Please what does that mean as I don’t see any update in my online account.

I did. We got three more. One for interview is ready to be scheduled and the next day interview scheduled.
Great please after how long. This morning I got an email stating we have taken action on your case. I don’t quiet understand the meaning, and after talking to an agent I from my understanding they are viewing my case. But after how long do people usually receive a decision after that email?

So after receiving the email notifications "We have taken an action" on October 25, our account finally reflected the changes today. It now shows that fingerprints were taken.
Hi @IndominusRex please did you finally receive any update ? And if yes was your timeline. I got that email as well and nothing on my online account.

Thanks @Faith2020! Her bio appointment for I-765 was Oct. 30, so that's like a month and 2 weeks. No she didn't expedite it.
Amazing and thank you gor your response.

Can you tell me what date did you request expedite EAD and how long has it been since then? Is your application at NBC?
It’s a little over a week now. I requested it for financial loss. Good question regarding NBC I actually don’t know and or how to find that out.

Hi.
I saw that you recently expedited your EAD. I have also just filed for a expedited EAD. I followed what you said and filed a new expedited ead request after my biometrics since my first one before biometrics got rejected. Can you tell me the following:
1) a detailed timeline of your expedited ead process?
2) what evidence did you fax for the expedite process? What do you think worked?
3) what exactly did you request from congressman and ombudsman if u did?
request to please help me with the same so I can request expedited ead too. I’m in urgent need of it due to unemployment from 9 months.
Please what is your timeline so far? I did also follow what this op said and I’m still waiting. I called tier 1 and the agent told me they responded to me since the 7th but he can’t see the answer and I still haven’t got an answer. It’s been several days now and online case is still “expedite request receive” I didn’t get the topical email people get few days to RFE.

Did you also end up requesting an expedite for EAD or did you only get your biometrics expedited?
I did for EAD right after the biometrics. I’m still waiting but they didn’t even send me any RFE like they usually do for people so I’m here all stressed out and curious about the outcome.

Sorry if you have already told us. But do you mind telling me how went about this?
Sure! I made several unsuccessful expedite request for my I-765 prior it was mainly because I didn’t have my biometrics yet.
one day, I attempt to make an expedite request again and asked the tier 1 to let me speak to a tier 2 as I read on VJ that some people successfully got their biometrics after speaking to tier 2. I express to a tier 1 how very upset I was, I could potentially lose a great Job opportunity just because I’m still waiting and I requested to talk to a tier 2. The agent was a woman she told me a tier 2 would tell me the same and that I can have my I-765 approved if I don’t have my biometrics. However she can make an expedite request for my biometrics, and that’s how I got an expedite request for biometrics and few days after less than 2 weeks I received my letters in the mail.

Short timeline:
07-24-2020 - filed i-360 and AOS.
09-18-2020 - USCIS sent a Request for additional evidence for a proof of good moral character on a I-360 petition.
Lawyer had me get a digital fingerprint card from a private firm and mailed it to FBI for a Clearance certificate. It took almost 2 month to get a reply.
12-07-2020 Lawyer sent reply to RFiE
In the meantime I've got a Biometrics completed on 11-30-2020. USCIS updated online the very next day.
RFE is not scary, it will add time to the bottom line, but it also is a sign that someone is actually working on it. Just be sure to read it really careful and reply on time. With Covid they let you extend reply time for additional 60 days.
As far as I can see /please correct me if I'm wrong/ Initial Evidence is usually referring to identity and admissibility (like birth certificate, passport copy, missing crucial document or signature?). Additional Evidence is for the next step, mostly eligibility - about marriage, previous marriage, abuse, moral character. Most of the time RFE is a formality that was overlooked or missed during initial filing and they give you a courtesy chance to fulfill the request. NOID is the more serious matter. It is almost a denial with final chance to make things straight. Hope none of us will ever have to deal with it!
Good luck and Godspeed for more and more approvals!!!
Omg hopefully not.

Thank you My case was based mostly on emotional and financial abuse.
Prima facie is a first document that Uscis extend (sometimes one people received other not) and that shows that a first sight your file have the necessary documentation to proceed.
This document helps if you need financial aid for education, medical assistant and other government programs.
I used for medical a program for covered California for people with low income.
Good luck in your process and remember is a patient game.
Be safe!
Thank you so much and to you, too.

Thank you. But i don't even have appointment for biometrics yet...not to mention the interview. Is it normal to wait for biometrics for four months?
Oh dear. Some people from Mars are still waiting. My friend did her biometrics in June and she’s still waiting for biometrics. I would suggest to call a USCIS tier and make an expedite request for biometrics.

Normally after 5 -7 business days they usually approved the case. You should exclude the weekend when calculate the days.
