We are literally sending off the AOS application this week. My husband came down to visit while he was waiting for his visa interview then everything kicked off. So we decided to go the AOS route instead. Are we now screwed because we haven’t sent the paperwork in yet?
I think we all need to take a deep breath and wait. Who knows what this means. It may just be no forgeiners allowed into the country who are not already here... does not necessarily mean applications will not be processed... necessarily at least based one one late night tweet

In the same boat, as my wife and I got married in February and applied for AOS soon after. Got our NOA about a month ago but it's been silence since then. I feel awful for everyone who's earlier in the process. Really hoping this is nothing.
Are you saying that as long as an AOS application is in, even if he stops "immigration" those with AOS applications already in should not be affected?

Hi! So our expedite request was approved last Tuesday, 4/14 and we received notification last Thursday, 4/16, that it was being produced. So about 3 days. Hope you get your notification soon!
Thank you. Had my expedite approved the same day as you 4/14... just have not seen any more updates. Fingers crossed!

My question is will this imply he is suspending phsyical arrivals? new visa/AOS/travel/work applications? pending applications? all applications?

Received notification that the card was mailed to us earlier this evening!
Hey can you put my mind at easy. How many days from expedite approval did it take for it to say your card was being printed?

Did you end up sending evidence/documents to USCIS, your congressman or both. I take it you have seen the update on the USCIS portal
Never got the RFE from USCIS... no idea what happened. But send info to congress rep. 3 days later expedite was approved.

I went through my congress rep, and expedite was approved! Now just waiting to see when it updates... am nervous but reading your reports is helping me a lot.

Thanks. I noticed that most expedite referral numbers end with MSC. Mine ends with a different set of letters. Do you by any chance a clue?
This its just where your application was sent to first, i.e. which center

Hello @beefmaster cc @waitinggame101 any update on your cases? I'm at the same stage also.
I ended up going through my congress rep as I hadnt heard anything about RFE from the phone service request and the agents all could say was that it was submitted and being considered 10 days since... I assume considered for like an RFE but I got over waiting. The rep was super helpful.

Thank you for the insight. I am very confused how they can make a decision without supporting evidence but let's see. Let me know how yours turns out, positive or otherwise!
Given the current work restrictions at USCIS and number of people applying for expedite these days, it may be taking longer than normal.... what I am thinking

Yeah it is. I had this happen to me and was not sure. It means that your expedite is being considered. I waited 5 days with no response, as I was expecting request for evidence by fax. I called them up and all they said it was still being considered. hang in there! I am too

When I submitted my request, my email read the same... except for the status of this request was
"Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."
I did not get a "ask for more evidence" paragraph. Does that come next?

Have you received the email asking you to fax proof? The completed status (the three messages) is just general update letting you know that USCIS has opened an expedite request. You need to fax the proof of evidence to them and then they can actually start to review your case to decide whether to approve or deny your expedite request.
I see. I have not received any email/letter asking for evidence... its been 5 days. I've ready people calling USCIS and asking to speak to Tier 2 people about this. How can I do that as I seem to get is the one person that picks up the phone and just read the same statmenet and did not know what "case" meant.

I elected to expedite my I765 recently. Shortly after my phone call, my online egov portal said
"...your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXX, was completed."
I received an email saying
"The status of this service request is:
Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."Does this mean my expedition request "case" is under review? or does it mean my actual I765 case is under review?

What is everyone thinking about applications that have already been submitted? They will not be processed? Or is it more likely no NEW applications will be taken in?
