Finally my husband finished his biometrics and the status updated to ready to schedule interview! Hopefully that will come soon...

I’m in NorCal Oakland also and our process is taking quite long. We also received an RFE, and haven’t received biometrics yet. We filed around June 14 

My RFIE came in yesterday. My husband and I used a joint sponsor because I am a student so I have no income right now. We evaluated with the lawyer and the sponsor we chose have way above 125% poverty line. USCIS is saying that the joint sponsor qualification cannot be determined.
They sent a generic RFIE for joint sponsor proof of income. I am not even sure which step they want because our lawyer sent everything that was needed for proof.

We called our lawyer today and he will review the package that he sent to see what else need to be sent. I went through the package and everything look good so im not even sure where to go from here except wait for our lawyer to review it. It's frustrating when there is a delay in the process when it is already taking so long..

Same situation... I haven't gotten my biometric yet however I received an email update for RIFE

Hello Everyone, we finally got our receipt notice in mail. They just sent us an email stating that they sent another mail that request for initial evidence... Do anyone have any idea what this can possibly be? We have a joint sponsor for our case because I (sponsor) am still a student. I wonder what it can be..

My husband and I filed for the I-485 with the lawyer on June 15. It showed that it was received at the office 2 days later. I did not receive the receipt notice yet and the check was not deposited yet. I was wondering if there is anything I should do from here or should I keep waiting since it have been 1 month. Is it getting processed slower now due to COVID?

My husband and I just recently got married. He is a F1 student and he is still a student. I’m an American citizen. We are working on our papers for AOS however we have not submitted it yet since we are waiting on some tax papers from our sponsor.
 
I was wondering if the order that Trump just passed will be a problem to this process. We are looking to submit everything as soon as possible.
