Just out of curiousity but would the fact that two of the OP's male family members applied for and were denied visitor visas to the US very shortly after her arrival to the US have any bearing on her AOS interview or treatment at the interview?
Honestly, I would just try to forget about what happened at the interview and move on. Spending money on atty fees to attempt to sue USCIS or the IO would be a waste. I understand that the IO was offensive but you wouldn't be the first or the last to be insulted or offended by an IO.

Why would you change the way you dress simply because you're married to an Arab? That's weird and yes, it would appear you're trying too hard or trying to be something you're not. You don't suddenly become Arab because you're married to one. Playing dress up is for little kids and performers.

Well sorry but it is probably for the best of everyone and your relationship. The minimum poverty guidelines for sponsorship are really not that great so if you really don't have that income level, you would just struggle with finances along with the struggles of a person moving to a new country.
Best bet might be to withdraw the petition and for you to get a new job or an additional job and make sure you ahve this very important part of the immigration process all nailed down before you do another petition. In the end it will be a good move for everyone.

With your staunch position HIT - I am surprised you wanted your husband to come to the US - as every opportunity you had you would bellow out that your husband simply does not want to come to the US (and therefore couldn't possibly be using you).

I'm curious, does YOUR husband love absolutely everything about the US including the gov't and its foreign policies that are obviously against ppl like him? If he doesn't say anything against our gov't, do you really believe he loves every single thing about it? Or maybe he's sucking it up as to not make you angry? So if I chose to live in morocco instead of having my husband come live here i would love the aspect of the country's economy that would allowed me to stay home and not work and still be well off with just one income. So I'd appreciate that and the country allowing me to live there in that manner. Would i then also have to blindly ignore the country ignoring the destitute and having veryvlittle if any governmental supports in place to help the poor and destitute?

"Our society" as you refer to it is one of immigrants thru and thru save for the Native Americans. If my Irish immigrant grandmother who came to the US from Ireland to marry my grandfather does not approve of all aspects of the US government and its policies should she be told to go back to Ireland? Why is it when someone from MENA (or any other foreigner) says something regarding US foreign policy or what have you that it automatically means they hate America? I don't think anyone in this thread has mentioned they hate America.

I completely agree with the two posts above mine. I've always kind of questioned US foreign policy/involvement and gov't, in general. I think everyone should. No one should be obligated to be patriotic just because they live here or were born here. I dislike the attitude that because one is "fortunate" enough to be able to live in the US that they are required to love everything about it and must support its policies blindly.
