seems like there are people who filed last Sep have their interview scheduled in this Nov, maybe you will need to wait for few more months? I hope they are not closed...mine case was filed in Feb
-
Detroit used to be so efficient before the covid😥but now ive seen some 2019 filers havent had the interview scheduled.

I also tried to have my drive permit updated the next day when I received the combo card, and the officer said that they couldn't find my card info in the system, therefore she faxed the copy of combo card, passport, visa page and the approve letter to someone for approval, and called me three days later to come in again for the new permit. I guess the card must be too new to appear in the right place 😂 and I'm in Michigan

From what I heard they were prioritizing US Citizenship interviews over other immigration things which is weird bc they already work and can travel and stuff we are kinda stuck no where lol
I hope they start working on us soon bc they are usually really fast and they work well!
haha maybe they are trying to get those new citizens to vote😂 that might be the priority for them now. my husband and i was going to move to another state by next Feb, but we won't dare to go if I couldn't get the green card before that, who knows how much longer I will need to wait if we transfer the case to another place.
anyway, I do hope you receive the good news soon!! and the maple start to turn red here, at least we can enjoy the view while waiting!

Yeah since may... There is few that had their interview date in march and bc of the shut down their interview was canceled and still today they haven’t gotten a new interview date.. So my hopes are slim... It’s sad Detroit office was really fast compared to others l!
it was truly frustrated...I was counting on the historical data here that says it should take about 190 days from NOA1 to the interview, yea there was a shut down but probably just add another 3 months to the 190 days?? but what we are facing now is too unpredicatable 😥
I just wish that we can hear about someone have their interviews scheduled soon, no matter when did they file the case, at least that means the office is still functioning.
-
😰so your case was ready to be scheduled for interview since May?? jeez mine changed to "ready to be scheduled" last month and I was hoping to have it actually scheduled soon...like in 2 months...guess it will take much longer than I thought now

That’s great news! Do you have to do the biometrics to get your EAD and AP? Looking at your timeline you have no received these yet!
Guess so...EAD shows that my fingerprint were taken on 8.14 and there is no update for my AP since they received it on 2.26, I have submitted an inquiry about it but no reply yet.
I download the Case Tracker app and it can look up 500 cases' status at the same time, seems like there are many others have their AP and EAD approved recently even though their case numbers are after mine. Also many posts here said that they have those two approved without doing biometrics.

Did you have this appointment?
yea I did and the I485 status changed to " ready to schedule the interview" a week after the appointment.
The funny thing is I found another biometrics appointment letter just for I765 right after I went for the 8.14 one, it was scheduled on 8.24. I showed up for that one too as Emma suggested, while the technician from the ASC told me that I shouldn't have came, but if I ever receive another appointment for I131 I should go there one more time.

What Code did your two appointments show? (top right of the appointment letter)
The first one shows code 3 as it's for I-485 and I-765, the second one shows code 2 and it's for the I-765 only.
I showed both appointment letter to the technician and she marked "Duplicate notice, biometrics seems fully captured" on the second letter and sent me home, I might need to show up again for the I-131 though.

well, came in today and they told me that I shouldn't have came

Those timelines mean nothing. its as good as asking some one what the lottery numbers. dont read too much into the processing times. they are fake anyways
haha thanks!!thats somehow very comforting

Hi guys,
Has anyone tried to send an e-request these days? because I don't understand this...
They are handling the March cases now and my I-131 was received by them on the 26th Feb, and stuck at "case was received" since then.
I just worried that my case was forgotten somewhere..:/
Also I have done the biometrics for I485 and I765 last Friday, just received another appointment letter for I-765 again on next Monday, the second letter was sent out before my first appointment so it cant be something wrong with my fingerprints, called USCIS asked for the level 2 officer to see if I should go for the second one and never had them call back. The whole process is just..confusing.
-
thanks @Ayrton @Luckycuds, just waited 1 hour to got through USCIS contact center and they asked me to call back tomorrow morning to speak with a level 2 officer, so I guess I will show up for the second appointment. 😕
-
Hi guys,
USCIS really confuses me, I just received the biometrics notice for I-765 on 8/24 (notice date 8/11), even though I already have attended the appointment for I-765 and I-485 together on 8/14 (notice date 7/28).
Since both case status shows that "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" I assume that the second notice should be an error?
Also it takes forever to talk to an representative, just wondering if anyone here have heard something similar to this?? thanks!

Same here, I received the notification letter on 3.15 said that my bio appointment was set on 3.31, I supposed it needs to be rescheduled but I haven’t received any updates yet.
