You might be able to contact the bank that issued your cashier's check to see if it was cashed.
Thanks! I actually tried that, at least with wells fargo, you can't actually track a cashiers check because it has already be pre-deducted from the account

And it was your own account, not US citizen account where I-130 / I-129F was filed?
Yes my own account

Do you have USCIS account? Did you list it on your I-751?
Yes I do and I did list it, just checked to confirm it is the right number as well.

People are getting copies of digital letters in their USCIS accounts. I doubt many filers from Jan 2024 received physical extension letters yet!
Yah, that's what I was guessing at the back of my head. That makes me more worried as I haven't gotten a digital letter either 😅

hey Deb. Did you file your I751 to the Illinois office? If so, Mine was delivered/received by immigration on Jan 2 too - so I imagine we are on the same timeline. Haven’t got receipt yet
Good to know thanks! Mine was to Arizona actually. Fingers crossed and will update if I get anything! Did you get a digital letter on myUSCIS?

Hi there! I sent my package, it was received on 2 Jan 2024, however I did not submit the text notification form, which I deeply regret. Furthermore I made the poor decision of using a cashiers check, so I do not know whether it has been cashed. It has been 9 days since any update, and I am seeing everyone getting their NOAs in 4-5 days, and some of you with NOAs arriving in a future date. How do you determine this? Will I be able to see an update on myUSCIS before the NOA1 letter arrives? Feeling anxious, thanks for reading 🥹

NOA on 4-5 days? Really? The USPS part alone can take 4-5 days to deliver letter from USCIS to your address.
When I submitted mine it took like 6 weeks to receive NOA by mail.
Also, were you trying to send a message in January 2024 thread?
Yes you are right! I am on the wrong thread, thanks for pointing it out. I'll post in 2024. Yeah, I have been seeing really fast timelines in 2024.

Hey Visa Journey. I’m curious what the timelines are to receiving a receipt to the extension of the I-751. I know receiving the removal of conditions takes quite a while but how long after they receive the application do they process the receipt?
I filled a little late in the 90 days window - sent on December 30 2023 and my CR1 expires on January 23 2024.
thanks for your help and advice,
CF
Have you received your receipt yet? Mine arrived 2 Jan and I have not either.

Got the EAD now, just after my post of desperation! Relieved. Hope the same relief goes out to everyone else who hasn't received it, the struggle is real!
-
I am beyond nervous for my EAD to arrive, I have already probably lost a job offer that was really difficult to get, amidst difficult health circumstances(spouse). Applying for another job will entail over a month of interviews. So happy that some of us here at least are getting some news, crickets on my end(PD feb 18). For those that have gotten your EAD, did you expedite? I expedited but no response since.. July.

Hey all!
I had my biometrics on July 15th (walked in), and expedited my EAD (financial loss/job offer) the next day. For my I-485, on July 16th it changed to ready to be scheduled for interview. I still haven’t received any word since requesting to expedite 24 days ago. I checked in a couple of times via Emma to see if everything is okay and they said just wait. I reached out to my congresswoman also but didn’t hear anything back either. I reached out via Emma again about a week ago asking to speak to a tier 2 officer and they should I’d hear something within 28 days (no word yet).
Any one any tips for getting the ball moving again? Anyone in the same boat?
I am in the same boat, I have expedited more than once now because of urgent reasons, even contacted my congresswoman who put in a request to USCIS recently, but nothing yet. The first expedite was made almost the same time as well. I was also told to just wait. Sigh!

Yes, I was scheduled for an interview:
Update again, completely unexpected but:
04/05/2021 Refiled EAD for missing signature. Case was received.
06/03/2021 Biometrics letter received
07/02/2021 Biometrics done!
07/03/2021 Case status changed to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"
07/16/2021 Interview scheduled for 08/13/2021
Congratulations, that was speedy!! 🥳 Did you request for an expedite at any point for the case to move so smoothly?

This is so helpful! I could not go pass the agent because she asked if I have my biometrics scheduled.
I just got my biometrics scheduled! 🙀 Thanks @miserygame for the prompt to chat with Emma lol, may relief come to those who are still waiting too!

There's a trick to expedite your EAD and hopefully 'trigger bios'
Connect w/ a live agent, provide EAD receipt number and request the EAD to be expedite DO NOT mention that you don't have bios(super important point), then provide your expedite motive, it should work, if not try a couple times those live agents are 24/7 grumpy.
This is so helpful! I could not go pass the agent because she asked if I have my biometrics scheduled.

Hahah yeah never know with USCIS we are in it for the long haul when it comes to immigration. Hopes are always high tho just gotta make sure we are not easily disappointed because after all it's immigration.
Yeah I was really hoping it was some movement, I guess not! I am one of the few left who hasn't received any biometrics yet, feeling quite left out. I really hope they have not missed out my application.

March 19 PD and no biometrics yet. Praying it's any day now!
I chatted with an agent today and the response I got was "the appointment has been requested, but your local office has not gotten a specific date and time set up". Gonna tell myself that means progress lol.
Did you request for an expedite on this? Mine is 18th Feb and still nothing 😭

Just a quick updates for someone who cares. My PD was Oct 16. Got 1st bio appt on Feb 19 but cancelled due to the storm. Rescheduled for March 29.
I-485 is ready to be scheduled for an interview since Apr 5.
EAD expedited on Apr 13 regarding financial loss. EAD approved on 4/20 no additional evidence required, combo card in hand 4/24.Good luck every one ✌️
Congrats! Finally 🎉 When you expedited, was it with Emma and did you need a job offer letter?

What a rollercoaster ride! I went for Interview 18th, was refused because I stupidly (and trust me I really beat myself up on this one) sent in an older version of the AOS that had a blank for one question, (one question!) but was told to just submit that via email. I was prepared to wait at least 2 weeks! Next day, it was in AP, and within the day, ISSUED! and two days later, ready for collection. How incredible! I have my passport in hand and the relief is worth it.

in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

Well this is weird, I received the physical copy of the 48-month extension, but do not see any digital copies online. Feeling somewhat relieved nonetheless. Hoping to get the access code letter and biometrics letter soon.
