  1. Hey guys, just FYI. Today has been the single largest approval jump in the PD 8/8/19 control group that I follow (500 receipt numbers closest to my IOE). These are the stats from yesterday vs. today. 20 approvals before noon.

Before today, they’d been trickling in with, at most, 2 approvals per day.

** To clarify- these charts aren't exclusive of Nebraska but they are all IOE receipt numbers. In addition, the approved batches seem to be in sequential order. In other words, they approved IOE....172, 173, 174, etc. My app is in these stats. I have a PD of 8/8/19 and my date changed to 4/6 yesterday.

I sincerely hope this means IOE receipt numbers are moving along and that we all get approvals soon. I feel really bad for people waiting since early 2019, and I truly hope this means your approval is coming soon.

Just wanted to share my $0.02.

Was told that was background check by Emma chat

    Congratulations!! That’s awesome.

I search the same 500 cases around my date every day to see the movement. As of 9AM in Nebraska, there are two 8/8/2019 PDs approved (though I can’t tell from which S.C.).  Glad to see August and September movement.

    Hi everyone,

Not sure if there is already a topic opened about this I just did, but I also want to pop the question here. I booked my trip to the US on January 28th. Me and my husband (US citizen) stayed with my family in law in Florida, entered the usa on March 2nd.  From that day the Corona started to spread heavily and it resulted in to a canceled flight back home. There were no direct flights back home (Netherlands) I either had to stop in Mexico or Spain, which I didn't feel comfortable with. (I don't want to be stuck in a another country). We decided to travel up to New Jersey. New York offered direct flights back home. I booked one for the 3rd of April. You can guess, canceled. Now the spread has even gotten worse here in New Jersey, but also in my country. Everyone says the best thing for me to do is to stay until it gets better and I don't feel comfortable flying now at all. But I have to leave the country by June 2nd (ESTA). Since we have a pending CR1 visa, I don't want to overstay. But what happens if I get sick or there will be a complete Lockdown, here or in the Netherlands. Crossing the boarding in Canada or Mexico is impossible, they wont let you cross now. Anyone with a similar story with more answers than me? Please help me out.

As of right now, the US has not announced mass, automatic waivers for ESTA holders who are forced to overstay (or simply cannot return home).

Other countries, like Spain for example, instead, have told US citizens that the days they spend inside the country during the State of Emergency will not be counted to determine whether they overstated their visas.

Violating the terms of your ESTA could have catastrophic consequences for your I-130. I understand you don’t want to fly for obvious reasons.

You can try to get a “Satisfactory Departure” from either USCIS or CBP (it’s unclear who is handling these right now during COVID in your specific jurisdiction). You can also try the CBP office at any international airport, though you mentioned you want to stay away from airports. This satisfactory departure may provide a waiver to allow you to overstay your ESTA for extreme reasons without prejudice. But it’s a case by case petition.

I would do my best to leave. Just my $0.02.

    Good luck.

Np.... although with all these transfers and new ways they’re processing everything who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ But traditionally that’s how it worked. I hope you get good news from it 👍🏻

Hi S&J, I did some research after your reply and I thought I'd share. You're totally right. USCIS website says " When you call to request expedited processing, the USCIS Contact Center creates and forwards a service request to the office with jurisdiction over your application or petition."

My "date" changed only once back in September of 2019. Reading these comments about IOE numbers, it seems that may have been the transfer date. But when I chatted with a rep on Emma they told me it was in Nebraska? 🤷‍♀️ What a mess.

Anyways, thought I'd share in case it helps anyone else.

The I129f does not mention it since the I129f is still only a paper petition so it is not electronic, while I130 petitions are now all electronic whether filed online or sent by mail. Nebraska seems to be very finicky lately (2 July approvals while many from January and February 2019 are still waiting) so I guess we will just have to see how they progress from here

Thank you, Lily. I see now that other digital forms get IOEs as well- not just I-130s.

  6. Hi everyone,

This is my first post- I just created a timeline to add to the data pool.

I'm an early August Nebraska filer and I see (at least) 2 Nebraska July approvals today.

I just checked my I-130 receipt number online (not "My Account"- just the online checker) and it says as follows: "It is being processed at our E-Filed Case Processing location". My I-130 NOA1 footer says Nebraska. When I do an online status check for my I-129F, which has a "LIN" receipt number, it does not reference the "E-Filed Case Processing location", but instead makes reference to the specific service center.

I know there's been quite a bit of speculation surrounding the IOE numbers, and in particular about how they are being processed. Just thought I'd share this in case it hadn't been conveyed before.

I don't want to add to the rumor mill unnecessarily but I wanted to share this in case anyone has additional information or thinks it's relevant. I don't know whether these early approvals are rare exceptions, expedites, a product of workload transfers, or whether they are somehow related to the IOE system. I guess I'm hoping the new "IOE system" (if one even exists) is somehow responsible for these early approvals and indicative of more to come.

Thanks to everyone for the information posted here. It's been tremendously helpful to us during this process.

PS: Congratulations to the couples who were approved! Thanks for the update.
