Hi y’all.  
My citizenship interview has been canceled 1 week before the scheduled date . I’m in the army and already got my leave approved , tickets bought for me to fly to do this interview and now it’s been canceled. I want to show up anyways to do the interview . I can’t easily get another leave to handle this issue because of the military . Anybody knows why they canceled the interview 

Good. If you are worried about your green card, ask your counsellor whether they would be willing (and if it is legal for them to) write an affidavit stating what you went through.

I received my 2 yrs green card 3 months ago , will it affect my case if I file for divorce by myself? My citizen husband yells and scream whenever he’s angry . I’m in therapy because I’ve developed anxiety and panic attack because of all the yelling . He’s not allowing me to see my friend ( female ) because he said he doesn’t trust me ( I’ve never cheated, lied or done anything wrong ) he’s refused counseling therapy. Yesterday was another 2 hours screaming and yelling because I didn’t get his package ready so he could return at the post office . I’ve been crying the whole night I’m afraid my heart will stop  beating one day . He always threatens me of divorce and calling immigration to accuse me of fraud .I know he won’t file for divorce unless there’s cheating involved ( according to the Bible ) but I’m sooo tired and ready to divorce if there’s no change. If I initiate the divorce, will it affect me if I’m going to remove conditions?

My timeline is as follows:
7/31/2020 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox using FedEx  8/03/2020 - Application received by USCIS 8/13/2020 - Checks cashed by USCIS 8/25/2020 - NOAs received in the mail (date on the NOAs 8/19/2020) Still no biometrics though ... 
 
I called USCIS twice. The first time they told me that they can't say anything as to when biometrics will be scheduled. When I called last Friday, they told me to expect a notice regarding biometrics appoitment  between October 12-26.

They received her application on July 23rd and she received her biometrics appointment today ? . Awesome! They received mine on August 31 , should expect it next month then

Today we received the biometrics appointment notification. What a relief! At least the case is moving. 

Okay so just an update, I just received the text notifications this Sunday(September 20) 

Call once you have hit 30 days. It's normal.
