You are wise to look at what the consequences will be and your options now.  You are correct that by the time the interview occurs you may well get repositioned in an appropriate new job with sufficient documentation to demonstrate that you meet the requirements. Consider what options you have for a joint sponsor in case that is needed.

Yes, I would never get myself in the corner for the last minute. Always prepare for the worst.

    Thank you.

  2. Thank you @Lil bear

@Duke & Marie thank you for your time to comment here. I just want to take a break for 1-2 months and then find another job. Hence, I am trying to prepare for the worst case that if the interview happens during my unemployment period, necessary documents will be ready then. On the other hand, by looking at the work progress at the NVC and the Embassy weekly, I think the interview would not be occurred soon. By that time, I might get back to employment status.

  3. Dear all,

IR5 cases for my parents have been submitted in Jan-25-2021, not approved yet. I also submitted W2 of 2017-2019, Tax Transcripts of 2017-2019, Payslips up to Jan-2021. However, I am in consideration to resign from my current job. So, when my parents go into the interview with the Embassy, is there a requirement to submit additional Payslips to prove the sponsor's current employment? If I consider to resign from my current job, I may not have proofs for that.

    thank you.

  4. Hi all,

My father case filed on May-2019 and got approved on June-3-2020 (after transferring to TSC from NSC). After 90 days of approval date, the case still not transferred to NVC and I did file an inquiry with USCIS about that. At the same time, I called NVC but there is nothing NVC could do if USCIS did not transfer anything to them. The USCIS replied to my inquiry that they will respond to me within 90 days ( another 90days...). Is there anything that I could do to ask USCIS transfer the case to NVC instead waiting another 90 days and waiting...?

    Thank you.

  5. Hi all, my parents PD is May-23-2019 and went to Nebraska SC. Waited almost a year with no luck. Then the I-130 got transferred to Texas Service Center on  April-28-2020. My patience mostly depleted. Went to USCIS.gov to submit an inquiry for the cases outside of normal processing time so that the inquiry will bring up attention of USCIS, however, the website did not allow to with a reason that these cases are still within normal processing time...However, more and more cases with PD after May-2019 get approved...Can someone point me which actions I should do besides WAITING?

    Thanks.
