    Based on the assumption the current income is less than required for the household size, a "joint sponsor" will be needed.  I would have a joint sponsor even if the current income is above but only slightly above the minimum.  It's a judgment call, not a goal line you cross by meeting the minimum requirement.

    Did you look at the official website? That would have answered your question. https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p Yes you need a cosponsor assuming you are making what you made in 2019

    CURRENT annual income is king.  Tax returns only reflect past calendar years' income.
     
    Current weekly income x 52= Current annual income
    Current monthly income x 12= Current annual income
    Current pay period income x number of pay periods per year= Current annual income.
     
    If you have documented  pay raises coming in the next 12 months, you can also include that.

    How many people are in your household and what is your current income? That is the most important factor.
