Same! Applied on 03/02. Still says my case is actively being reviewed since 03/25. My field office is Austin. How about you?

I did. Reached there before the offices open. I was the first in line. They asked me the reason and the supervisor then let me proceed with the biometrics 

Hi guys

i just checked my mail today and i missed my biometric appointment for n400 application. I filed my case on March 1st of 2024. Online it says my biometric application scheduled letter was sent out by USCIS on March 5th. I checked my mail on March 11th and then today March 23rd. My appointment was on March 21st!!! Has anyone been on a similar boat? Any suggestions what i can do? I am thinking to visit the appointment center in Monday and request. However, online it says that it might be denied and my application will be closed. Any suggestions please?

One more thing after my DQ NVC ask me to change my joint sponsor if you want. But they did not reject any of my documents. In safe side i submit the documents for new joint sponsor about 2 weeks ago. I hope so this thing did not effect on the case and push them to send me the email about my appointment cancellation.

Did you request to change the country where you want to be interviewed at? This usually happens in such cases.

Where do you get the A-number and DOS Case ID? Is the DOS Case ID the same as NVC ID?

How do you know this? We are not asked to pay any fees. Was this communicated to you?

They can take your passport right there if all documents are in place. Since he wanted me to upload/mail missing documents, and since he had already seen hard copies of each, he asked me to mail my passport via empost once i have uploaded the documents.
 

They mail you back the passport via Empost with the stamped visa

Cool. I received my passport back yesterday. Basically I got it back the next day after CEAC showed the status as issued.

My DS-260 was also approved in 2019. Hence, that is not an issue. You nay carry the same with you to the embassy

You can get it from Dubai Police.

I was asked to upload my original birth certificate too. But they returned my passport. I uploaded the BC last night. Do I wait for them to come back to me and ask me to mail the passport? (hopefully)

 

And when you do that do you just go to EMPOST and mail to the embassy? 

Wait for them to come back to you and then send your passport via Empost. I was instructed at the interview to submit my passport at Empost, hence I did it at the same time. You should wait, i believe, until asked by the embassy.

I did send a follow up email to the embassy email address asking for an update. I guess it’ll be good that you send a follow up email as well asking when can you submit your passport.

submitting passport at Empost is straightforward. The empost guy helped us out in this. We have to print a document from the link https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ae/iv. Follow steps. You will click on submit additional documents, print and give it to Empost along with your passport.

Yes they checked the DS-260 at the time of entering the embassy

I had my interview at the Abu Dhabi embassy. It was quick and pretty straightforward. Basic questions asked was how we met, where does my spouse work, have I travelled before to the US and what was the purpose of my visit.

The VO said everything looks good. However, he could not see on CEAC my birth certificate and marriage certificate. Also, I went in with my new passport since the older had a validity of less than 6 months. So he wanted me to upload to CEAC the new passport copy. I informed that the other two documents (minus the new passport) are already on CEAC. He advised that in order to speed things up I can email the Embassy the requested documents.

He then asked me to upload the AOS and IRS 2019 transcript. I showed him these documents as I was carrying hard copies of each. He said that this is good and he made a note on the system. 
 

I was then given a 221g blue form and asked to upload/email all the requested documents. He asked me to submit my passport as well to Empost. I did all this on the same day. After 5 days the status on CEAC shows issued. Waiting for my passport now.

Congrats!! They kept his passport? How long does it take to get the passport back?

Yes I was already DQed before. After receiving an email for change of embassy, it followed with the email “All documents are received..” from NVC. However, I do not know which DQ date prevails.

In my case, after moving embassies, i received two emails; first email notified me of the new case number and second email stated that all your documents are qualified and approved. I do not know whether this applies a new DQ date or just a notification.

Yes normally it happens when embassy approves an expedite and case is transferred from NVC to Embassy but in this case we both transferred our case from one embassy to another , I requested to transfer my case from  Pakistan to UAE , but it was long time ago and may be the embassy started working now so now they are changing our interview locations in their system and that thing caused this notification.

Thank you , hopefully I will get IL interview letter by the end of next month.

What about you , Dublin embassy started Interviews as well ?

I changed my interview location from Pakistan to UAE as well. I received this email too. This indicates a new case status, a new DQ. NVC had informed us on the phone that we will be moved out of one queue and into another. Hence the specific email is received

We are also waiting for an appointment however, we haven't seen any notice regarding scheduling appointments for IR1/CR1 visas

You got interviewed at Abu Dhabi embassy? Have they resumed scheduling IR/CR visas? Im still waiting for my interview to be scheduled. Any news from the Abu Dhabi embassy?
