That’s awesome ! Congratulations! I was wondering how come you only found out yesterday ?
No idea, we had an expedite so that may have had something to do with it, but we got a call late yesterday, we had to rush across D.C. to get my medical in time for this afternoon. Luckily I had some results from consular processing. At this stage I’m not questioning it, just happy to finally have it sorted

I’ve just received word at work that the furloughs are cancelled for the time being.
Yeah, we were advised of this today by an officer. He said they just got word.

We had a last minute Interview today, found out yesterday. It went really well, the officer just ran through our form and asked how we met and a brief history of our relationship. After that he advised that he’d approve us and to look out for a status change. Just checked and it now says ‘New Card is Being produced’.
Hopefully people are scheduled soon and good luck when it comes!

Hi All,
Very luckily and out of the blue we were scheduled for an interview tomorrow. The officer advised to make sure to bring proof of our relationship, does anyone have any additional examples of why to bring? I have the below.
leases for 3 separate apartments
joint bank statement
pictures of vacations
life insurance policy

The status was "Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" or "Interview was scheduled"?
Did you move recently and filed a change of address?
Nope, same address. It was Ready to be scheduled, I didn’t have one scheduled before o got the change

When did you file? I am also waiting for a DC interview.
June 4th, but it was expedited, as I originally filed through consular processing in 2019 and change due to Covid.

It means either the interview will be rescheduled...or they are waiving the interview......look for the letter or another status update soon.
Great, thanks for this, here’s hoping for it being waived.

I had my EAD expedite approved on Thursday, as I have a job offer, does anyone know how long it will take to have the physical card and SSN? The status is currently ‘New Card is Being Produced’

Hi,
We received a case update today saying our interview has been cancelled, it was previously at ‘Interview to be Scheduled’.
I contacted USCIS as soon as I saw and they said they didn’t have any information and to just wait for an appointment letter, very unhelpful.
Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, quick question, does RFE comes before or after biometrics?
I don’t think they’re linked as such. We’ve not got an RFE as of yet, but I don’t think that means we’ll not get one.

Hi. Two questions:
1) What was your NOA1 date
2) When is your appointment and which office?
6/4 and DC, it should be on my timeline
-
I’m in DC, got my appointment notification today. Receipt date is 6/4
-
Got my biometrics appointment today for 8/13, so it seems the DC office is catching up.
-
I received my biometrics appointment today, and is dated 7/28. Here’s hoping everything starts moving along now

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I thought I’d check in with USCIS in relation to my last post, since it is now the end of the working week.
The agent I spoke with advised that the last agent gave me incorrect information and that the ASCs schedule the appointments and there no timeframes or deadlines and will just need to wait

Exciting to see some action on here with NOA letters arriving and Biometrics appointments! Woohoo. Hoping my letter comes today. Checking the mail religiously at 1:30pm after the mail person comes!
Same here, I was advised yesterday that if your ASC opened on the 13th, then you should receive your biometrics appointment letter by the 26th, if it doesn't come, USCIS will place service request.
As a side note, it's crazy how similar our timelines are, we were also married March 2019, then I was visiting for a few weeks when Covid shutdowns happened, so we move from Consular to AOS in June.

How did you receive this info? I haven't received anything similar and think I filed before you? (May 18). Great news if true - thanks for sharing!
I spoke with one of the agents on live chat and had them repeate it a few times. I’m hoping all dc are schedule by monday

I’ve just received the following update from USCIS
“Application Support Centers (ASCs) will begin reopening in 3 phases. Notices for Phase 1 of ASC reopening should be coming out this week for appointments starting on July 13th. Phase 2 will begin two weeks later and Phase 3 will begin two weeks after Phase 2. The Phase 1 scheduler ran on Friday June 26th; applicants may expect to receive biometric services appointment notices this week.
The Alexandria ASC was part of Phase One. You should receive an appointment notice by July 26th.
Contact us Monday the 27th if you have not and we will need to place a service request for a non delivery of the notice.”
They also advised that it won’t be update on any trackers and that we’ll get a letter. Hopefully this means we’ll all get our dates before next week!

So from what I can gather, No one has had a rescheduled appointment or had a new appointment issued out of the Fairfax office?
I’ve not seen anyone on here get one

OMG really? I'm a USC waiting on an interview date for my Irish spouse. Where did you hear about this update? I've been checking the embassy page and Twitter account daily and hadn't seen signs of movement.
I got an emails from them today asking questions about my documentation and medical in preparation for them opening back up, so I think that means they’ll be open soon. I’m currently not in Dublin however, so I’ll need to self isolate for 14 days before my interview
Washington DC AOS Filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
I was consular processing pre-covid and got stuck here in March while visiting, so not so quick all in all. After filing to adjust I got a job offer so applied for an expedite for both ead and aos
