  1. I called the USCIS today, and tried to use the RFE trick like most people mention here, but no luck, I couldn’t pass the customer service rep. at all.

But I called again with the straight truth that my I-130 has been there for over 180 days, then they transfer me to someone else they call customer service, and I had to wait for 25 minutes on the line, but I think it’s not the customer service I think that person is in CSC, because how could they transfer me from customer service to another.

Anyway, they told me that the processing date is:

For the I-130 the processing date is May 19th

For the I-129F the processing date is April 29th 2007

So I said I have sent my I-130 on May 10th, she then told me that they can’t be looking into my individual case being late unless it’s 30 days out of the processing date.

I couldn’t get any information from her at all.

I really still don’t understand why the process of a US citizen bringing his spouse to the US should take all this time, it make no sense to me at all

    But

  2. I spoke too fast... I check USCIS and our I-130 was approved on 11/15. The 1-129F has been touched on the same day. Not sure why they are not approving both on the same day. Regardless, this is great news :)

Congratulation G & A  , that’s a good news, really gooood news, I am really happy for you, we all are happy for you,

Along with that I am more optimistic now because I sent my I-129F a week after you, hope to get approved as well

  3. Congratulation Ahmed for your approval, really happy to see another approved case, this gives hope to the rest of us

..Does anyone know if USCIS open on Sat. I will try to call tomorrow, this is taking very long, my wife start to give up, and this process is just getting worse and worse, no system no order, and no freaking update, what are they doing in CSC?! , I think if the USCIS delegate this to a private company, we would have seen a way better job with incredible speed

  4. looking at the last chart release by A & G, I see that there is 75 total cases 47(I-129F) of them got approved, if I am not wrong (I counted the approved 3 times with 3 different numbers..very early in Monday the morning :blink: ).. and we got 28 cases left, and looking that most of the 47 cases approved were in the last couple of weeks, then I have high hops the coming 4 weeks will bring a good news to the 28 cases left :dance:

  5. FIRST.. congratulation for the recent approved cases, you brought a hope to all of us

As I said before, the cases in USCIS are in I-129F's date order, and there is many reasons why

1- The pattern, people who submit the I-130 late but they were quick on sending the I-129F got approved

    Example :

    - if someone have sent their I-130 on 05-01-07 then send the I-129F on 07-01-07

    - if someone else have sent their I-130 on 05-25-07 and sent their I-129F on 06-15-07

    - the second person will get approved before the first, even if the first person was first on the I-130

in short, right now your date for I-129F is what matter, regardless of when you have sent your I-130

2- USCIS observed that most applicant go with the K3 visa then the I-130, because K3 goes faster, so it make sense to them to work on the K3 and pay less attention to the I-130, even if they approve them together, they do that just to not keep the I-130 in a black whole.

So for everybody that waited a month and more before they sent their I-129F because they were waiting for the I-130 NOA1 due to USCIS's system problem... we are paying the price, it may seem to be not fair, but we didn't take our chances and risk it a little and send the I-129F with the available documents at the time, GOOD call for those who took the risk and sent off the I-129F,

  6. Congratulation to all the approval, and hopefully the rest of us follow

What I noticed from the recent approved cases is that they have sent their I-129F in May, if I am not mistaken, USCIS is going by the I-129F dates, regardless of your I-130 sent time.

G & A you have the same timeline like main, if my above guess is right then you I are getting approved in a month from now, around the first week of Dec.

I hope I am wrong and we get approved sooner,

One thing that may help get our file out of the dark to the front of the line if we make a call to the USCIS through the RFE trick, which I am asking the folks who did it to tell us how is it done?

    Thanks

  7. I have a question to everybody, if you have the answer, why I don't have any touches even though I have been

    I130 sent 164 days a go

    I129 sent 109 days a go

online status state that USCIS have received my case for process as follow

    I130 139 days a go

I129 77 days a go 'this is how many days my case has been on CSC

now all these days with no touches at all, is that normal? And what I can do to get my case moving?

I see most of you (if not all) have touches, I am thinking this is because every time you make a call your case get touched, which I don't know what that may benefit the case

    Any info will be appreciated

Moreover someone in this forum stated that after calling USCIS they have told him they are processing 04/22, is that correct? have anyone who called reacently got any info on what date they are now?

  8. Now with the new fees, would it be better,

I read somewhere (in this forum or in USCIS) that the increase is to hire more staff, and adopt new system, I hope so.

But if this increase will do any good, there will be the following questions:

    - Would the process be faster?

    - Would the process be less hassle? maybe fill the form online and upload the photos [like the USCIS DV program]?

    - Will it include the cases that are in the queue with the old fee (like us)?

    - When this speed will pick up, now or in few months till they train the new staff, and implement the new system (and this may cause some errors and more delay]

I hope and pray to The God we have get the positive answer to all of the above.

But from history we see that the process with USCIS (INS before) goes from slow to slower, never went up, perhaps we should teach our kids or future kids to file for their I-130 & I-129 from now, by the time they grow up they are going to get they first NOA1

  9. kelly1290 and G & A

I was just going to tell kelly1290 the same thing G & A typed above, that's what I did with my wife as well,

    - I had her go to a photo shop and take a picture and asked them to give her the photo on CD,

    - Then she emailed me the pictures,

    - I worked them in here using Adobe Photoshop to put 6 photo ID pictures in 4X6 image size ,

    - Then went to Ritz Camera store ( you can also go to Walgreen store or GVC pharmacy, or any other store that have self service photo print kiosk), and I printed two of this 4X6 image I made each has 6 pictues (2" X 2"), so I got dozen picture of id size photo for my wife, and it cost me less then a dollar.

  10. G&A

Me too, just today I got my NOA transferring my case to California Service Center (CSC), dated 07/25, one day off from your estimated date, great job

Now I assume that the next column "Xfer Rec'd" would be another NOA from CSC telling me that they have received my case for process, is that right?

Thank you G & A, I am really impressed with your chart idea,

  11. I called USCIS in Friday ..and I was told that the process for both I-130 and the I-129F is still on Dec. 2006, WHY?

Is it really that hard to process a legit case.

Wait a minute ... what are we talking about here, I-130 taking years to finish, I-129F the same, WHY? WHY I SHOULD BE SUBRATED FROM MY WIFE? WHAT KIND OF IMM. SYSTEM IS THIS, you will never hear things like that anywhere else.

I can't believe that in order to bring your wife you have to get blood purser, diabetic, and couple of hard attacks, and at the end you have to prove ridiculously that you love your wife is really you wife, WHY?

I am not asking for my brother or relative to come here, SHE IS MY WIIIIFE, can’t we live together?!

it really frustrating to wait a year or two, and read thousands of pages and file hundreds of papers and forms to just be able to bring your wife WHYYY?

I am sure it’s not employee fault, it’s how the system been designed.

  12. davejaz42107,

    - I don't think the status you got into is yours, it clearly say I485 Application, yours is I-129F,

    - I think you went way far on trying to guess the right number your case has, and you end up stepping into somebody else's status, that happened with me when I read my case number wrong from my check image for my I-130, I end up stepping into employment application.

So don't worry or get confused, the number you got after changing the last 2 digit isn't yours.

That's my thought, and by the way I just received my NOA1 for my I-129F, and I have the same invalid message

I think USCIS is confused :P Why do I have that number stamped on my check if it wasn't for me? Perhaps I don't understand the system well enough nor the entry process for apps. I would imagine it wouldn't take too long to enter I-129F as received and pending. As it took virtually no time to enter the I-130 into the online system once I recieved my first NOA1. I'm just ranting and try very hard to be patient. Sorry, I can't help it. :P

See just to confirm you and others that posted in this thread, I had my last digit off by one number, for example if the last digit was 7 on the back side of my check, when I got my NOA1, it was 8, but it still didn't work, we just need to wait, it's not big deal the status message at this early stage will not give us any usfull, or happy news. let it age, and we will see what's going to happen.

  14. - Ok good news  my I-129F check has been cashed, and I can see the image online,

    - But the number in the back of the check started with "MSC" or "HSC" then 10 digit numbers,

    - The image wasn't that clear,

    - Any clue where this 3 strange letters in the beginning? or have anyone got them?

:D Mabrouk wintime!!! It looks like our timelines for I-129F are similar. I just got my NOA1 for I-129F today in the mail. It looks like my check was cashed 2 days after the date on NOA1 (July 9). I was kind of worried that it would be longer than what I've seen on VJ statistics for those who filed couple months earlier.. but thank God...this wasn't. As for the rest of the journey..Inshallah!! God knows.. and Im still asking God for favor, speed and peace :innocent:

I never received NOA1 for I-130 either and sent out the same evidence in its place as you did on July 2nd.

May we all continue to share and be encouraged with the news and info we share..even when we just wanna vent.

    Gwen (F)

    Thanks Gwen,

Insha Allah this journey goes fast, easy, smooth for all of us, a question to you what was very first 3 letters in your case, main shows MSC or HSC, not sure due to a poor image, and I couldn't track using this number in USCIS case status inquiry.

And looking at the timeline of a lot of folks out here, I think this may take long time, maybe my wife will not be here until Jan of 2008 like 6 7 months from now, what was your estimate
