Btw, from Facebook, you don’t need a true translation of your nikkanama if you already have a English version and Urdu version of your documents. And no need to reopen fill out a DS-260 if you don’t get an email from the embassy to do so.

Thank you. It is Friday so I have not gotten it yet. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday of next week 

Just had my interview at Islamabad Embassy. Visa got approved. My question is now, how long does it take for Passport to reach to Karachi office. Consular said you should get in less than 2 weeks. Does it really take that long or do I except it get there early. Please let me know. Thank you

I think that is pretty accurate. Actually they got even slower now compare to previous times. Hopefully they will speed things up. 

Another disappointing month. After telling everyone that embassy will be picking up the pace, they actually going slower now. My DQ is May 19 and I already planned to go to pakistan for last couple of weeks of January (to go to interview with my wife). Seems like embassy got the better of me. Now I have to wait for February and again change my days off at work. SMH

What is your friend's DQ date? I thought that is why they only invited people till April 22 DQ because they will not be working during last 2 week of december or atleast after Christmas

I think we will hear something by early next week. I am saying this because they might be closed for last 2 weeks of December. That is why you see no one got interview from 22 December till 31 December. They are going to send out the news before they go on vacation.

Again, what are your sources? There is one person on facebook group, his visa got delayed and they want more paperwork. So they are working on individual cases at a time. There is no need to overthink that they will give priority to someone who just had interview on December. Embassy is working normally. Slow, but normally.

Where do you hear that? Please check the sources if there are credible or not. We had issues here in this group that someone just comes up and says that embassy is closed again and this and that and starts to confuse people. If the source is not credible, please don't believe them. Embassy is open and conducting interviews.

So whatever PCC that you have, just bring that one. No need to get another one. They usually focus on marriage certificates and birth certificates.

Apparently you don't need Police clearance certificate for Pakistan. I don't know why everyone is getting them. Islamabad embassy does not require PCC

They do interview across the glass anyway. And it is usually 5-10 minute interview. Most of the time you will be spending waiting on line or filling out forms. Corona test before interview will be an overkill.

We might here something on Monday or Tuesday. Just keep faith insha Allah. I have a feeling they might do April and May DQ together since Biden will be opening all immigration, they need to clear the back log before F2A and other visas open.

I dont think so. Everything is open in Islamabad. All the schools and offices. They have might slowed down the process but not closed

I just heard another person whos DP was March 27 and interview date is November 30. So they are doing all of the March DQs in november.

They are still in march. I know someone personally who has DQ March 24 they got interview for November 30. So April DQ will be December and so forth. Just worried about people who's DQ was in September. This way there interview is gonna be April next year? this will be too late. Anyway, good thing they started interviews again.

Do not think it is a good idea because I did messaged and did not get a respond yet. I think they will get mad if everybody message them for the same thing.

this is what I have from the proclamation 10014. Spouse visas are exempt. They probably sent it out by mistake.

Should not be a problem. They are talking about karachi and karachi is having people gathering almost every week now. Hopefully we will hear something soon espcially for the people who had DQ early march.

Kio kai in sab ka bhi backlog horaha hoga abhi to socho IR1 jo khula hai oska backlog poora nahi kia aur ye sab bhi visa open hogae to kia haal hoga embassy ka to Insha Allah december 31 sai pehle backlog clear kardenge
