  1. Hi everyone. I had my GC interview yesterday at Farifax office. It went well, the officer was nice and she asked around 20 questions (my age, my wife's age, my military experience, the place I work at, etc.) She also asked for lease documents, tax return and documents with my job info. I thought I'd be asked to provide the medical exam documents (I paid 350$ for the med.check) but she didn't even ask for them. Also, I answered some I-485 questions (Yes/No).  After the interview she said she'd recommend us for approval. I've got the notification "the card is being produced" 20 minutes after the interview. Thanks to everyone here and good luck at your interviews.

  3. Hey guys, I just recieved my EAD card with my surname spelled wrong. I've put the e-request on USCIS website and I have to send the card back to the Benefits Center. Has anyone experienced the same thing? My biggest question is Can I start applying for jobs while my card is there and the error is being fixed? The I-765 I submitted to USCIS has my name spelled right and it is not my mistake. I'm so sad it happened and I'd like to start applying for jobs as soon as possible. Thanks a lot for your help, guys

  5. Hey guys, I just recieved my EAD card with my surname spelled wrong. I've put the e-request on USCIS website but i dont know what my next step is. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Can I start applying for jobs with this card even though my surname is spelled wrong? The rest of the information on the card is correct. I'm so sad it happened and I'd like to start applying for jobs as soon as possible. Thanks a lot for your help, guys

  6. I have talked to the USCIS representative using Emma just a couple minutes ago. He said that the appointment has been scheduled but he doesn't know when exactly as he doesn't have access to that info. That's the second time I'm doing that via Emma. I also had a conversation with another representative before and she gave me no info at all. I guess, it makes sense to talk to  different representatives. I filed the petition at the end of April.

Just got 3 text messages of case received. Green card, Travel, Work permit. Check not cashed yet, maybe in morning. Not bad at all. Was expecting 3-4 weeks.

Just got the notifications too. Had to message the lockbox (lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov). They didn't answer to the email but I've got the notification on their website the USCIS accepted the fingerprints fee. Thanks to all people who responded to this thread. I'll keep you updated on my case, guys.

You could email the lockbox and enquire if you haven't already done so (lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov).

I am in the exact same situation as you. Originally filed March 24, rejected Apr 22 due to outdated forms. Resubmitted April 27 delivered USPS April 29 and not heard anything. I have enquired multiple times but USCIS don't know anything. Emailed Lockbox Support and got an email saying they haven't scanned it yet and to be patient. I guess all I can do is wait.

Huge thanks, Megan. I will email the lockbox tomorrow. Wish you good luck in your AOS process:)

I’m also in the same situation. We sent our first one off in march and it was returned in April. We sent this one off April 27 and the7 received it April 30th. I have called USCIS but they haven’t uploaded the docs to the system yet, and our check hasn’t been cashed yet either.

Same thing here. Just found out that our check hasn't been cashed either. All we have to do in this situation is to wait, I guess

Took 21 days for them to process my AOS last year when everything was going smoothly. I have seen people saying 30 days to get their case numbers at the minimum. I used a credit card and as soon as the charge posted, the next day I received all my case numbers via text message, so I would give it another week at least before you worry.

Thanks for the information, it really made me feel better:)

Yeah, we are in same boat. However, we used USPS, and don't know whether USCIS received it or not. We mailed it back on April 30th, supposed to be delivered on May 2nd. USPS tracking says "in transit". We haven't heard anything from USCIS and check hasn't been cashed.

Hoping we get our NOA1 soon too. Best of luck.

Hopefully you guys will hear from USCIS very soon. Good luck to you too:)

There are a lot of people experiencing longer waiting times. You can email the lockbox support if you haven't heard back in 30 days. You might also want to try the ask Emma chat support and ask for a live agent. Seems like others had luck with that.

You'll get new case numbers so don't bother checking on the ones from your rejected case.

Thanks a lot. I really hope I'll hear from them sooner than later.
