We had our interview this morning ~ no approval or denial because they couldn't find his medical that was turned in at POE... 😔 The interviewer will attempt to locate it and if they can't find it, we will get an RFE for a medical... This whole AOS process has been very frustrating for us.

Am sorry to hear that,I had my interview and the only thing they asked for was my child's birth certificate

They told me if they nees any thing they will send us an RFE and if not they will approve us.A few hoirs after that we were approved.I hope they can find it and approve you soon

    I am confused.

    I had my interview today.

When our interviewer called me, as I walked up to him with my wife I started a joke with him immediately and we all chatted and laughed through the hallway to his office.

When we got to his office the guy just had us take the oath, we cracked jokes for a while then he went straight to ask me the YES/NO questions in the I-148.

He made some changes on the application and had me sign on the changes.

Next he asked for any supporting joint documents that we had.I gave it to him and he filed it.

He never asked any personal questions or anything about our life.

Then gave us a printout to acknowledge we came for the interview.then said even though the letter says it takes 120days to hear from them we would hear from them with 2-6 weeks and that was it.

I felt it was strange. He didn't ask for any of the things listed on the invitation letter.I went home with all the paperworkworks.

    Is it normal???

Wow!That was nice.I hope I get the same experience.Am wondering if I have to do another affidavit of support or something.Does any one know?.I habe my interview on the 3 march

After 5 months of job search ( 3 months before getting EAD and 2 months after getting EAD) applying for more than 600 jobs in various sites like LinkedIn , career builder, Indeed, zip recruiter, and worksource WA ( out of which more than 300 jobs applied on linkedin itself). Finally I got a sweet job ( after 1 hr long face to face interview with presentation on board) offer from Costco IT department  offering me a salary more than $100,000 per year :D

:D .. I am happy that all the hard work i put in finally paid off..so I just want to encourage all other ppl like me here to have patience and keep going ...u will get a sweet reward in the end.

Good luck to you all who are having hard time in job hunting.

Got our interview notice yesterday for Feb 25.

Can't remember if I updated here, but we got our 485 NOA on June 4.

We filed for AP/EAD on May 31, and it took us 5.3 months to approval; we took a trip to Vancouver to visit her family and it was pretty smooth. She did have to go through secondary but said it was easy, and it didn't take her very long. :)

Hello guys,I got a status update toda that my interview was scheduled.Finally.I haven't got my EAD but hope to get it soon

Hello guys!I just received an email from USCIS saying that my case is awaiting to be scheduled for interview. But my status hasn't changed from USCIS request of evidence was received. Is that normal?

Thank you for the link. I think this is something many here, including me, weren't aware of. It possibly explains some of the RFEs for I-693 during AOS, when the applicant really didn't expect it.

Its been 112 days since my RFE but still no response.Am a minneapolis filler.Anyome im the same boat?My EAD expiration is supposed to be soon.Donyou think I can expedite my EAD because it's time is expired?
