Hey there!
Did you have the Interview already or not? If you did, where you approved on the spot or had to give more proof?
For me, my visa was approved on the spot and had VOH 5 days later.
We filed for an IR1/CR1 visa, it is a different process than K1. We were given the OK from the National Visa Center, who collected all of our documents, and our case was sent to the BA embassy so that they could schedule an interview. We got the OK a month ago and the BA embassy has not contacted us yet to schedule an interview date.

Hi everyone! Is there a thread for IR1/CR1 filers from Argentina? It seems like it is very uncommon... I am trying to figure out how long it is taking people to be scheduled for interviews at the BA Embassy these days. It has been almost a month since we were cleared for an interview at the embassy and we haven't heard anything yet.

Has anyone had an interview recently at the Buenos Aires embassy? We were marked as case complete at NVC for our IR1/CR1 almost a month ago and still have not been contacted about an interview date.

How long is it taking people these days to get an interview date from NVC after case complete? 1-2 weeks? Thanks for all the help everyone!

I feel you. Nov 14th for me (Canada) and still waiting. There was someone who was Nov 20th and got their DQ last week, so holding out hope we get it this week. But, I'm getting the sense it's going to take the full two months.
Same here. Nov 14th (Argentina) and still waiting.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the useful BA-specific information. I am in the middle of a IR-1 so it may be a bit different than the K1 requirements... but I am wondering about:
1. Do I need to bring a copy of every page of my current and expired passports to the embassy interview? Or just pages with stamps/info on them?
2. I ordered an official copy of my birth certificate online with the PDF digitalized signature, do I also need to get it stamped somewhere else? I also have the original original birth certificate (very small shaped and old-looking), should I bring that one as well?
Thanks!

Hi everyone! We finally joined NVC filers and get our from Nebraska service center. We already submitted IV packages, but we are struggling with AOS fee being processed. It’s been over a week since we payed both fees. Anyone had something similar?
We had the same issue. It took two weeks to fix it, but finally we submitted everything yesterday. They were having problems with payments on October 30th - November 2nd I think. Keep trying calling them and I wish you good luck.

Hi,
We just got the AOS fee approved and I’m a little bit lost.
Can someone give me a sample list of financial evidence submitted to NVC to cover the Affidavit of Support section?
Thanks

Has anyone who had recently received their case number and are having issues with the missing AOS fee option in ceac gotten any feedback from NVC other than to submit a query/wait ?
Yeah, everyone is having the same issue. We called yesterday, they said that you can start paying the IV fee. Hope they fix it soon.

Hi everyone,
This morning I got my NVC case number and I could pay the IV bill but the AOS Bill didn't appear yet.
Is that normal? Do we have to pay it after we submit our documents? Or is the website having some issues?
Thank you.

ARGENTINA Packet 3 + Embassy interview
in Mexico, Latin & South America

Yes, they have not responded.
IR1/CR1 visas are not email-based though, they are all processed through a separate online system, so the embassy wouldn't normally be in contact with us at all. The NVC handles it and informs us of the interview date directly.
I am just wondering if anyone else has received an interview date recently to get an idea of what availability is like at the embassy these days.
