Finally!!! Done with the Oath ceremony today at the Fairfax office, VA and officially a US citizen now!! Hurray!!
my visa journey started in 2015 May and it finished today! 
I would like to thank VisaJourney, without it I would be lost. This is such a helpful platform, me and my husband were able to gather the info I needed from this amazing website and people. 
its so good to think that I don’t have to think about any visa paperwork now!!

My oath ceremony has been re-scheduled for June 25th at the USCIS Field Office, Irving TX.
Oath ceremony was previously scheduled for March 18 but canceled due to Covid-19.
The journey is almost over. Goodluck to you all🙂

Finally after a long wait (10 months) I became American citizen on 5/27/2020. Thank you so much VJ for all the help and support during this long journey!!!! 

I also got notified that my oath ceremony has been schedule. Austin TX here!!!!

@Amadia I doesn't say that in mine, but it also doesn't say bring whoever you want  either way I wasn't planning on bringing anyone, at this point that's just common sense. My family can't  and won't fly over of course and my husband is a super high risk. We can always celebrate in a nicer environment than a local USCIS office   I know they say it's like a super nice memory and all but I just want to check that mark and be over with it all after such a lengthy and exhausting process. 

Yes me neither let's wait and see what's in the letter  California (LA) same as you from what I can see, I hope this means they have a plan at least

I just got notified (old portal not yet on the new one) that my ceremony has been scheduled. I guess things are moving. Mine has to be a judicial one since I have a name change in case it matters.

@Ixica that is some good news for sure. I am waiting to get a rescheduled interview.

I just saw it... Although I sympathize, it seems like this process is never ending at least in my case
On the other hand I filed online and she didn't ask me for anything other than the questions in the application and the test. I had tons of new evidence and documents, pictures etc Not even for the copies of the essential documents or to see the originals 😮 When she gave the approval paper I was like do you want any of these

I had my interview today (in LA) not a long wait. Approved, she said to wait for the letter because as of now nobody knows how they'll handle the ceremonies and when. I guess it's just back to waiting as usual better safe than sorry. Hope everybody stays safe!

That was my main concern -  the building basically deals with every variation of immigration and related services, so I thought it might become crowded early outside (from the pics i've seen on Yelp etc.), I'll definitely be there at least half an hour ahead of time, thank you!

also - I've been thinking about the COVID-19 situation regarding all of this too, and I can certainly imagine Oath ceremonies being delayed over the next few months and possibly interviews as well.
There have been some 'Large Gathering' events in the area already cancelled so I would think the idea of 5,000 people turning up at Staples Center could well become an issue.

I suppose a positive way to look at it, is that it's all been one long waiting game anyway..  but that's not much comfort when 'so near the finish line' as it were - I guess these are all things we should expect given the current situation too.
