Jitoria got a reaction from DylanandLaura in Including UTMA in Affidavit of Support I-134
This is a pretty specific question. Does anyone know if we should include a UTMA account for Part 3 question 6 "Market value of my stocks and bonds"?
I don't think a UTMA is either a stock or a bond, but it is an investment. I do not need assets to get to the 125% over poverty line, my salary is plenty. Let me know if anyone has an opinon!
Thanks

Jitoria got a reaction from Hank_ in Affidavit of Support—Tax Questions
This has been my experience so far. Our proof was so clear and evident that our process has been really smooth so far. We had an RFE, but that was because we missed a single “yes/no” question on the I-129f. Once we sent it back they gave us an immediate approval.

Jitoria got a reaction from mogiftney in MAY 2019 K-1 FILERS
I checked the status of my case on the USCIS site—not sure which is old and new. It’s the first that comes up on google.
Talking with my girlfriend, I realized she used the same passport photos as her American visa photo from 3 years ago... were thinking it’s probably that. Big oversight on our part. But this is just speculation. I will inform everyone when I get it. I’ll also call today to see if that does anything.

Just joined to give some bad news. Received our RFE today (Aug 7). Filed May 5, received NOA 1 May 9.
I thought i did did everything perfectly, and though it would be fine. I feel terrible. 😭
Any advice what to do from here? I didn’t even look into RFEs since I thought I would be ok.
