JeanneAdil replied to mglev's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
You can marry in US and do the I 130 petition together / then she returns to Chile After that the CBP will question her entry but she can reply "i returned home after the marriage and we r awaiting the spouse visa interview in Chile On K1 same questions at POE but they will see K1 in computer and assume intent to stay and can cancel the ESTA BTW K1 is not that much faster and is more expensive -
co sponsor lives with petitioner and his/her income is combined with petitioner's Joint sponsor does not have to live with petitioner and must qualify with same income (100 % of poverty) both must have US residency It is up to the CO at the interview the U.S. consulate has discretion about whether to recognize a joint sponsor who signs Form I-134

Muslim husband can add 02 wives
JeanneAdil replied to farea's topic in General Immigration-Related Discussion
then they have also not followed Islamic law (Sharia) which says But Sharia requires Muslims to obey “the law of the land” of the country they live in. The “law of the land” in the U.S. is the Constitution. Sharia requires Muslim Americans to support and follow the Constitution in all matters related to public law. To petition he would need to be living in US as LPR or USC and he would have broken both US and Islamic laws -

JeanneAdil replied to farea's topic in General Immigration-Related Discussion
muslim man (in his country) can have multiple wives IF 1st wife agrees to this /so IF are 1st wife and agreed to this, u too, have broken US law as this practice is very illegal in US about 2 years ago a post Muslim man went back to Moroc and married 2nd wife he didn't like the responses on VJ when he posted he was applying for child of 2nd wife to come to US Problem is all marriages (even if not legal must be reported on petition) U can read that the embassy and immigration are not the police or moral police and the embassy does not have to do anything but they did revoke his citizenship for breaking US laws and he could not return as his state of Massachusetts give jail time for polygamy -
Forgot green card in the US
JeanneAdil replied to B.F's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
Do u trust Moroc mail service? a package i sent in October didn't get there till April (6 months later) and a card i sent to family there for a death still has not been seen (years later) on top of those who would steal a green card if presented an opportunity to do so but this pops up when i search USCIS sites for traveling with green card Permanent Resident Cards (commonly known as “Green Cards”) can only be issued or replaced in the United States and cannot be obtained overseas. If you lose your Green Card or reentry permit or it is stolen or destroyed while you are abroad, you may need to file a Form I-131A, Application for Travel Document (Carrier Documentation). This carrier documentation will allow an airline or other transportation carrier to board a lawful permanent resident bound for the United States without the carrier being penalized. For more information, please see the Form I-131A, Application for Travel Document (Carrier Documentation) page. -

The supervisor may look at the petition and discover the error but you can be proactive and write to the supervisor of the office send dated photo state ID or DL showing when u started living there along with the page from the N400 instuctions highlighting the section on residency https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-d-chapter-6 B. Place of Residence The applicant’s “residence” refers to the applicant’s principal, actual dwelling place in fact, without regard to intent.[3] The duration of an applicant’s residence in a particular location is measured from the moment the applicant first establishes residence in that location.[4]

not only does your friend need to have the 125% of poverty guidelines for family size but should check cost of health care and yearly deductions for each policy offered. low cost plans have deductibles in the thousands and these plans do not cover 2 basic needs of senior citizens The Affordable Care Act does leave two forms of insurance for adults out of its provisions — vision insurance and dental coverage. If the mother has any serious medical issues like diabetes this is what is said by the American Diabetes Assocation The average monthly expense for a diabetic comes to be anywhere between Rs 3000 to Rs8000 per month.Nov 19, 2015 Sounds high but they are taking in all costs form an average of hospital care, moderators, medication
