If I were the neighborhood watch and we had a string of robberies….. and I saw someone I "thought" was acting suspicious enough to call the cops, I too might follow him so he couldn't slip away without the cops questioning him.
Obama and this kid had nothing in common except skin color and yet that was all that was needed for Obama to assert their connection…. so yeah, I have fun with it.

Come on Marv, you have a shortage of Black recruits, their failure rate is high, how do you suddenly get them

NOw the goal of having a force that matches a certain look might be more important than enforcing every standard.
I just wish we could all agree..... either skin color matters or it doesn't.
It is either has some added value or it is just pigment... because I was all on-board when we were considering character and skill.

I thought America was "the " place to be and a beacon of democracy which is overrun with millions of illegal immigrants seeking to force America to accept their way of life and still achieve the American dream...
Russia expects their immigrants to conform to Russian society and their way of life. Which is working long hours for very little salary, and housing a family of 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment.

I immediately thought the same thing, about how to extract energy from burning flesh, it might well mean capturing the energy used to incinerate rather than just let it escape.
This whole subject is a little strange in that if we accept that unborn humans have no value... what does it matter how the bodies are dealt with?
Any society which allows the destroying of such life (void of any compelling justification) should certainly not be expected to treat the remains with dignity.

It shouldn't make any difference what you look like when you go to school. Wearing a US flag however, that's provocative.

Better to stay home. At least the NSA can watch over us and keep us safe from each other. And from Angela Merkel.

At least he posted references which is more than some here do.
I think it is fair to assume he is not aware that some religions and some groups of people are more untouchable here at VJ than are others.
NO doubt his posts will be removed while the vile and personal attacks against me personally remain, but hey,, I am just a guest honored to be here so I accept things for what they are.
IN fact, that is the secret to my success in life, my failures are usually rooted in the moments I forgot that principle.

The American slave trade split apart families......Put the blame where it really lies.
The Forgotten Slaves: 1400 Years of Muslim Enslavement While much documentation is known of the American slave trade, the Muslim enslavement of Africans (and Europeans) encompassing the last 1400 years has been hushed up. This remarkable documentary films shows the story historians have neglected.

Marvin I went to USCIS today for Biometrics for my wife. The Black security guard stopped everybody coming in. Asked to see USICS paper work, checked them for cell phones, explained prohibited items.
When he got to me he gave me the ol' head up chin wave and said, You a cell phone man? I said nope. He waived me thru. No Id nothing. No list of prohibited items. Nothing.
It's great when even the black guys give you the white privilege.
All joking aside. Do you think it was because i was so obvious a local good ol boy or Racism perhaps.

Basically, terrorists, overthru the elected government in Ukraine and put in their own, unelected people.. now this is the Ukraine government that the US recognizes.?

Bill Gates: ‘It Makes Sense to Believe in God’

(CNSNews.com) – Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and now a global philanthropist with an estimated net worth of $76.8 billion, said “it makes sense to believe in God,” adding that there is “no scientific explanation” for how the world came about.

Gates also criticized the NSA leaker Edwin Snowden, describing him as no hero, and went on to praise the U.S. government as one of “the best” in the world.
Gates, who is married to Melinda Gates, with whom he has three children, spends much of his time supporting philanthropic causes through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In an interview for the Mar. 27 issue of Rolling Stone, among many questions, Gates was asked: “You’re a technologist, but a lot of your work now with the foundation has a moral dimension. Has your thinking about the value of religion changed over the years?”
Gates said, “The moral systems of religion, I think, are super important. We've raised our kids in a religious way; they've gone to the Catholic church that Melinda goes to and I participate in. I've been very lucky, and therefore I owe it to try and reduce the inequity in the world. And that's kind of a religious belief. I mean, it's at least a moral belief.”
Rolling Stone then asked, “Do you believe in God?”

Gates said, “I agree with people like Richard Dawkins that mankind felt the need for creation myths. Before we really began to understand disease and the weather and things like that, we sought false explanations for them. Now science has filled in some of the realm – not all – that religion used to fill.”

“But the mystery and the beauty of the world is overwhelmingly amazing, and there's no scientific explanation of how it came about,” said Gates. “To say that it was generated by random numbers, that does seem, you know, sort of an uncharitable view [laughs].”
“I think it makes sense to believe in God,” said Gates, “but exactly what decision in your life you make differently because of it, I don't know.”
As for the NSA document leaker Edward Snowden, Rolling Stone asked, “Do you consider him a hero or a traitor?”

This June 9, 2013 file photo provided by The Guardian Newspaper in London shows National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, in Hong Kong. Snowden says his "mission's already accomplished" after leaking NSA secrets that have caused a reassessment of U.S. surveillance policies. Gates said, “I think he broke the law, so I certainly wouldn't characterize him as a hero. If he wanted to raise the issues and stay in the country and engage in civil disobedience or something of that kind, or if he had been careful in terms of what he had released, then it would fit more of the model of "OK, I'm really trying to improve things." You won't find much admiration from me.”

Later, Gates commented on the federal government stating that it is “a pretty blunt instrument and without the constant attention of highly qualified people with the right metrics, it will fall into not doing things very well.”
However, “[t]he U.S. government in general is one of the better governments in the world,” said Gates. “It’s the best in many, many respects. Lack of corruption, for instance, and a reasonable justice system.”

I was looking for a house cleaner. for a relative. $20/hr for "light" cleaning is what I encounter. . If you get someone who will work for $10 background check says they have a record of some sort..... In this country if you sent the undocumented democrats back where they belong many people would be working for a lot more. ... or even working at all. I feel so sorry for the folks that never got a degree and undocumented Democrats will be taking every job they are able to do. Or almost every job..... just pull that lever every other year in November. Vote Democratic and all will be right.

Think about what you just wrote there for a minute......
    "It's not more expensive"
This is the wishful thinking that has me so concerned, the program has not even got out of the hanger (certainly not off the ground) and you are convinced it is a money saver.... no matter what the evidence is showing.
Do you really think you are going to give stuff away for free, most of which could never have been had under the old system of using the emergency room.... and we are going to save money!
My friend this is "cost shifting" where you and I pay for it..... in the form of a healthcare tax in our premiums.
Why do you think the the Insurance industry was all in?
