When you check in, did they ask if you need an interpreter or translator?
They asked if I have a lawyer or translator to check them in . But I didn't have neither.

congrats, how long did you spend with the IO in his office? Did he ask for more proofs?

Update :
got my interview 3 days ago.
the agent asked some questions about how we met , how long we spent before the marriage, what do we work , what's in common between us, etc..
At the end she said ok I'll give yr case a review before the decision.
in about 7 hours my case was changed to ^we ordered yr new card^.
next day changed to ^yr case is approved ^
I applied Feb. 2019 NYC
I wish everyone will get that sooooon.

@USA17 how long it took for you to get the interview notification since you filed ? You’re in NYC, right ?
Yes NYC, it took exactly 10 months and 17 days.

We submitted our N400 today and will be joining the N-400 and I-751 Combo Pending thread. Also, a word of caution for those who want to apply for the N400 online. For whatever reason, the payment/submission of the application was 5 hours past our actual Eastern time. I think missileman talked about this and cautioned against filing on the day of eligibility.
Good luck to everyone on their journeys and may we all hear good news soon!
That's good and wish you an easy application.
Does your credit card get charged once you submit the application?
How to tell exactly the eligibility day?
Thanks

Thanks for the kind words........no interview would be great!!!! My wife has not yet decided whether she will submit her N-400 under the 3 year rule or the 5 year rule........the journey continues....😁
Is it any advantage for the 5 year rule to consider?
Thanks

Queens. I think the local office they all located at Manhattan.
I'm in the Bronx.. and I believe all of us will be in Manhattan local office.
I tried to find this local office timeline but unfortunately couldn't.
When I checked the processing time for the I-751 for all the local offices on the uscis website it says 19.5 months to 37.5 months.

@USA17 did you get any update yet ? NYC seems ridiculous!! Illogical waiting time for interview
Nothing at all, depending on the N400 timeline Las Vegas NV takes longer than NYC , But as you can see here with the I-751 it's the opposite. Nothing makes sense with New York.
You can check it out with this link:

Just got an update:
interview completed and my case needs to be reviewed!!!!!!!!
what on earth that supposed to mean?
That's really so ridiculous... it seems like because the IO wasn't ready for your case they put it for a review!
Hopefully that will be very soon and you get approved

Hey guys ,
interview was today, all took 20min.
IO seemed somehow not familiar with the case, asked for some documents that was not supposed to be there , basically some of those we send to them 5 years ago, my wife first marriage divorce papers.
then asked some one on his pc something.
then he suggested to wait for a week or so , if the case is approved then ok if not be ready to extend the extension letter.
I have to take the case to my supervisour and explain all to him but he did say if all is good you will be getting your card in a week or two.
now its somehow troubling me , why would he say such things,
the interview itself was easy , we laughed .
still can not figure out why he said what he said,
any ideas?should I be worried?
Did he ask you to send them the divorce papers ?
And when did you apply for your I-751?

To comfort you, I’ve been observing some cases close to my case number, they filed in June 2019, few days ago one status changed to New card being produced from ‘ RFE responses received’ another one ‘ approved’ from case ‘ready to be scheduled for an interview’. I guess nowadays they are approving MSC application without an interview. I hope you will hear something real soon, are you in Manhattan office or in Brooklyn?
The question is : if these cases in NYC or not! Because it seems like a lot of cities are moving except for nyc😡

One of my colleagues' husband applied for citizenship last year and was told by USCIS that the time you've waited for an I-751 counted towards your N-400 processing time.
I'm not sure how true that it is, because it was my understanding that I-751 and N-400 can be filed concurrently, but are on separate paths. Also, I know USCIS workers and their information aren't too reliable to begin with 🙄
The only thing makes me think that I-751 doesn't count toward N-400 processing time, that I checked some timelines of petitioners here who have pending (I751 and N400) and they been waiting for the N400 for more than 10,11 months which says the 2 petitions are not connected.

I applied for the I-751 in November 2017 did the biometrics few months after then they sent me extension letter for one year then another one for 6 months, now the maximum processing time for removing conditions is 19 months now I’m over 21 months and still the last update when i check the case status says “on April 9th 2018 your case has been received at your local office”
I applied for the N-400 in March and still no updates and the two notices they sent me are expired now. Anyone have a similar situation or know what I should do?
Is there any update on your case ?

For those who are waiting for an interview to be scheduled: Where are you finding stats regarding your local office's waiting time? I've read that people say to go look at it, but I'm not sure exactly where to find it? Are they referring to N400 stats? I thought I-751s and N400 are scheduled differently so you wouldn't be able to compare those times?
Does anyone have any information or suggestions?
We're in Atlanta and I'd like to know what the waiting time frame is for that office. I've tired to find some timelines on VJ, but they're don't seem to be too many.
Thank you!
Actually I been trying to find stats regarding local office waiting times for (MSC) and I called USCIS, seems like there's no answer for this issue!
There's a topic here for the N-400 waiting times which I'm sure it's different than the I-751

Unfortunately, no. My mail was on hold and as soon as I saw a notification that the interview was scheduled, I put in a request to resume delivery so my neighbor can get our mail from the mailbox. As usual,, postal service lags behind in getting mail delivered. Last time we were on vacation it took 3 days after "hold mail" was expired before our mail was delivered. It's frustrating with them already. While I am grateful to be receiving an interview letter, I don't consider it to be lucky. We filed December 31, 2018 and have been ready to be scheduled for interview since April 4, 2019. Hopefully the letter will be delivered Monday and my neighbor can let us know when and where the interview will occur.
I'm sorry I don't understand.. do you mean this mail needs a signature in order to get delivered ? Or why you put this request to resume a delivery ?

Hello lupus
congratulations 🎈 glad u got ur process done , we have same local office!
I’ve filed initially with divorce waiver back in May 2018 , got letter transfer from csc to nbc last Sep 2019 states that an interview can be schedule , Oct 2019 so I’ve stamped my passport here in my local office Denver Colorado ,lady told me my case already reached Denver office , since then I’m waiting to get an interview scheduled! I think filing with divorce waiver is less priority !
congratulations again
Less priority! Do you mean takes longer than the regular cases ?

I believe you have to get a certified translator BUT I think it's better to give them a call to make sure..
