    Yeah, I consider myself blessed. The waiting though is very challenging, and my medicals will expire soon. The courier that delivers that passports is not working and calling the embassy is futile cos they just have the generic answer for all. Anyways.. since Ghana just re-opened their borders I pray and hope this speeds up the process. Amen

    I got a call from the US embassy today for an interview on September 4, this Friday! We are so excited since our original interview was cancelled in July due to Covid - one month later we finally got the interview appointment again :) 

     

    We have a question on bringing the original I-864 to the interview : we could not find our original I-864 file nor did we make any copy before we submitted it to NVC.  What should we do?  Should I print out a new form and fill it out again?  What date should I put on the form?  And should I tell them we lost the original form?  We'd really appreciate some wisdom. Thanks everyone!

    I’m getting tht same error but this is my first time submitting the i864 form .. Was u able to submit?

    We haven’t been approved. Others with the same PD have though, and many others from other dates in July too. But most of those had Texas or Potomac as their centers. 
    As for how the system works...... 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ We have no idea how they pick and choose which ones they’ll work on next, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer.

Our PD is July 9th, we hadn’t had any date change since September but were one of the ones that did get a date update last week so I’m hoping this is good news and we will hear something soon. I’m sure there’s more waiting in July than have been approved still too.

    Ok. Yes sure so ur pd July 9 and some others after July 9 got approved?? Is tht how the system works??
