Please can someone please help me navigate through this madness. I still haven't heard anything from USCIS is been a week over 30 days. I have called, sent email to the lockbox and still nothing. Understand the pandemic era we are in but person with the same timeline or after have already received their text. I'm in limbo. Should I cancel the money order and refiled? If I refiled should I file as i-131? I don't know at this point I am out of status and am so confused. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it may be too soon to cancel and refile a few people that send their package in before us still haven't had their funds withdrawn either.  I would suggest giving it a little more time before starting all over as I131,  you've come so far with the I129 process already.  Sorry this is happening... try to stay encouraged.  USCIS doesn't seem to have a consistent track record with their order of processing the files they received, so I wouldn't give up just yet.

  2. i just checked my status online, its shows (see below).  Was this anyone else's first status update?  i'm wondering if this is normal.  I was expecting to see something along the lines of "case received".  I have not received my NOA1 in the mail yet. thanks!

So today is day 31 since i submitted my application still no response. i contacted an agent just now via Emma and they are not seeing anything in their system and suggest i send an email to the lockbox. this is now cause for worry as i dont know if my package was overlooked and been sitting in file 13. It was delivered on June 10th and signed for by Justin in the mailroom. Is there a number i can call to speak to someone at the lockbox or otherwise? going out of my mind now.

Oh no.  i am sorry to hear you're still waiting.  try not be discouraged, you may hear something very soon.  Someone posted this email address for lockbox support, i hope they're able to assist you: lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov

Hi, mine was delivered on June 10th to date nothing. Emma did put me on to an online rep who says it takes you to 15 days to 'actually' receive the receipt notice and receipt #. He/She says its only been 14 days and if i don't receive it by EOD tmrw then i should contact them on friday. I am praying for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Our package was delivered on the same day.  Have you received text messages or have they withdrawn your funds yet?

I very, very nice lady finally answered my call to NVC now.  She confirmed that our I-797/I-129F file had been received by NVC and she gave me my case number and invoice number.

I asked why I had not received either email nor physical mail about their receipt of the file, and she was surprised to hear that.  We then confirmed that they do have my correct address and email.  So...her guess was that maybe they didn't bother to send me that confirmation of receipt and creation of case number since the file was being held and not sent to the embassy.  She was guessing, but she then said that I *should* get communication when the file does ship to the embassy.  Of course she repeated the phrase we all know about how embassies are not processing yet and they don't know when they will...

Anyways, I'm just happy to have the case and invoice numbers.  Now I will go back to waiting...

Hi! which number did you call to get your case number?  I have a friend that received her NOA2 in April and is still trying to get her case number,. when she calls NVC its an automated system telling her to check online.

I was hoping to get the SSN before the EAD due to the cost of health insurance etc...it’s so much cheaper being added to to your USC spouse’s insurance than taking out your own!! I may try and get a drivers licence with what I have, UK passport, NOA1, proof of US address etc and see what happens...could anyone else share any Drivers Licence success stories ???  With the bank account, I opened mine up on a prior visit and you only need your passport and proof of US address with Bank of America and it’s really easy to open, even easier i think of you joint it with your USC partner...

My state does driver's license request by appointment.  our appointment is next month.  we have ssn, bank account and utility bill (and all immigration documents (i-94 and NOA1/2)) so i am hoping all goes well.  will let you all know how it goes.

    Hi June Filers,

We filed our AOS ( I-485 with the EAD & AP) through USPS and received on June 3.

just received NOA1 via text for all 3 applications.

beyond excited and wish you guys all the best.

    now the wait begins.

    cheers

Hi! wow, that's great news and pretty quick.  Based on your timeline it looks like you filed on june 2nd.  are you saying USCIS received it on june 3rd and you received your NOA1 on june 10th?

I have received a SECOND rejection notice-- for the same reason: The payment amount is incorrect.

The first time I submitted the AOS package with a check to US Dept Of Homeland Security for 1225.

The second I submitted my credit card information, thinking perhaps they could not read my handwriting.

    What am I missing here??

    We are filing:

    i-485

    i-864

    i-765

    i-131

Did you include, in each of your cover letters that you were filing the forms concurrently?  I wonder if they were unaware and therefore expected to receive an additional fee for the I-765 or I-131.

  9. We finally shipped our package out today.

I’m stressing out... we can’t get the Tax transcripts online from the IRS website and because of covid-19 there is literally no other way to get them. Offices are closed and mail services are suspended. We do have all the Tax returns & W2’s from the past 3 years though. Will they give us problems?

you can send w2 and tax returns or tax transcripts so you should have any cause for concerns.

Hi..  I filled up the forms of I-129F (without barcode) and mailed yesterday and I went to see if there's an updates on the USCIS website then just noticed there's barcode on the bottom right before my fiance mail the petition 😂 and I see some got the barcodes too on their form of I-485, I-765 and I-131. I keep looking for the answer about it just to make it relax and asked some of other filers too, and I've found this
