We are all struggling with waiting, please keep in mind this statistically is a shorter wait that our first step.  One thing we all need to keep in mind we also had a holiday last month on a Monday, historically people take extended vacations when a holiday is at the start or end of a week, this will cause some delay.  We all have made it past the first step all we can do is keep the faith and wait a little longer.  Hang in there everyone.

I am taking no sides in this, we are all here to help each other.  Just like family we may not always see eye to eye and we may have disagreements, but we are all here to help.  

So with that said can we all agree to move on.

I am not panicking, i was just sharing an info....i called USCIS , because i wanted to know if my case had left USCIS to NVC..... now I know it did..... thats all...
 
people when we share info....its not that we are panicking all the time.... i do worrie, i do feel negative at times... but thatis why we are here, as a community to lift eachothers spirit up.....

Calling will not speed up the process, people are calling so they can get a case number so they can track online.  Mine was dated May 13 and I call once a week.  Being able to track online help with knowing when it was sent to the embassy thus allowing you to set up appointments, like the interview.  Some countries allow you to set that up with just a case number.
 
But yes they will eventually let you know.

What she got was her case number. There is no need for her to call back. If she has a 3 letter followed by 10 numerals digits then she has a case number. She now can go to ceac.state.gov and enter "immigrant" then her case number. Oy Vey I can hear the next reply from her, "it says at NVC, why is it still there?" Then I am going to have a face palm to the forehead.
