so our interview, K1 AOS, was 2 months ago. it went well other than the fact that her medical was missing. she had a copy of her immunization, but medical packet was given to officer at the airport. Our IO said she doesn't have my wife's medical. My case status is still under review. I was told to call  USCIS after 60 days, But I haven't been able to get through. Her EAD and AP has expired because I didn't reapply 'till after interview, I wasn't expecting anything to go wrong. But its been applied now so we wait, she is not working so we are okay. My question is what can I expect, since only thing that was missing was her medical. ours is straight forward case so I dont see anything else stopping us. I haven't received any letter or email from uscis. I know that  USCIS website says we cant make Info pass appointments online. I wish i could just get her medical done again and send it to uscis already.

Extra question  when can we expect to receive her EAD. Since it was reapplied  it shouldn't take as long. They used her old biometrics. Thank you.  

Hello, our AOS interview was on 04-22-21. Interview went well for the most part but the Medical package, that was submitted at POE,  was missing. Now they are waiting for it. EAD expires on 06-18-21. I had the paperwork ready but then we received the interview letter, so we held off ead renewal. Is it to late to file for EAD/AP now, because the Interview has been done? can i still file for ead renewal? anything special that i have to submit ?

I know medical going missing is not unheard off but how often do they find it? would it be premature to start on  i-693 ? Thank you. 

nvm checked mail and it was there !! i did get a notification from informed delivery.

At USCIS website it says card was mailed to me on 7/09/2020 but no tracking number or informed delivery update yet. Any idea how long it will take to ship? 

What kind of supporting documents did you send? just curious because i wasn't able to send much. other than  what i found on VJ that was necessary.  Congratulations tho!!

Downloaded case tracker app today and entered info and it said case approved for EAD and AP.  so now we wait for it i guess. Does anybody know how long before it changes to card mailed?

So i filed my wife's AOS paperwork already. I didn't check my mail for like a week or more. social was already issued and probably was sitting in my mailbox when i sent her aos package. Is it a problem that i didn't put social security number on her paperwork?

 I am planning to file my wife's AOS pretty soon. My question is since this it is 2020 already do i need 2019 taxes? it will be Some time before receive my W-2 and file my taxes. Or should i be okay with 2018-2017-2016 transcripts and job letter? Please help thank you.

Thanks guys. now i have to explain this to my fiancee.            But the question remains does i-134 effect i-864? 

my fiancee will be coming to usa to get married. her parents and sister and brother in law are going for visitors visa interview. Agent told them they should get a i-134 from USA.  now question is it going to affect AOS process when filling i-864? i am kind of worried. i know i dont have to as its not a requirement for b2 visa. but if i choose to do it. I have already submitted one for my grandpa once and obviously for my fiancee also 

email them if you really want one, but don't need it. 

my fiancee had her interview on oct 10 at 7:15. got there at 6:30. there is no line just people sitting and waiting outside. 7:15 appt people were called at 7 am. She chose Punjabi as her language. people with Punjabi preference were put in separate line. A Punjabi guy sorted her paperwork. only took i-134, W2 and may be tax transcript. didn't take job letter or pay-stubs or bank statements. she was interviewed by a Punjabi speaking guy. Not a English speaker with translator as i thought it would be. So they sort it out for you. 

My fiancee did it in punjabi and got approved. Interviewer was punjabi speaking guy. Dont know if it will hindi speaker co or a hindi translator.

what about DS-160? 

i dont know about extension. i have heard they extend it automatically or try emailing Support india. Now you didn't need to wait for embassy to contact you to book interview. You should book you interview already. May be you will be able to change it later.

okay now this is what I did. A week after i got my case number i filled out info on CGI for visa and at the very end it gives you the payment option. it will give you three options. i also did axis bank. once you click on the middle one of the options displayed, it will give you an slip with reference number. you take that slip to any axis bank and make payment. CASH. dont need an account from what i know. they will give you another slip with bank reference number. thats what you use. I think it automatically gets attached to your account once the payment has gone through. takes 12-24 hrs. after that you can book interview. You really dont have to wait for package in the mail because that takes about another month. Now you have to find out when NVC ships your file. Follow the PDF for that https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view. now For medical you have to find out what they require. we were told by the hospital that we need actual notification to book interview from Mumbai in order to schedule medical interview. which we just received. medical should be done 2 weeks from interview because it has an expiration date.

when i booked mine it gave me first available date on left side of the screen. even on home screen i think. Then i had to keep on selecting new VAC appointment in order to even see that 'available' appointment for interview.  

@Greenbaum hey man. so i contacted embassy earlier and they got back to me regarding ds160 mistake. they said to fill a new one, which i did but haven't submitted yet. Do i have to update it on the CGI website too? i see that i am able to change personal info even after booking appointment, but if i change it is it going to affect the appointment date? Thanks a lot in advance. 

My status says ready on ceac. i booked an interview for my fiancee already. We put wrong  year of birth for her mother on ds160. So I contacted support india and they said fill out new form ds160.so do i have to update it on the CGI website too? Second thing is they said they have not received the physical packet yet, so am i too ahead with booking the appointment? how would i know if they received the package. Please reply.
