Currently working on the form, few questions I have..
My family name (last name) is that before I got married? My name is different now-I took my husbands last name
and
When it comes to mailing address it asks for "in care of name" what does that even mean??

No, it should be fine, especially if you have the IRS tax transcript already for last 3-4 years , most recent 6-9 paystubs and W2 for the 2018 year.
You get to fill half less pages, compared to the regular I-864
If you don't you can get them online here: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
If you are having trouble creating online account, you can request it to be sent via mail here: https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/start.do (takes < 10 days)
Thank you

The requirements for the EZ form are literally written on the form and instructions. Did you even bother to read ?
It is also mentioned on the travel.state.gov site: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc/step-4-collect-financial-documents.html
You may use Form I-864EZ if ALL the following conditions apply:
- You are the person who filed or is filing Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored; AND
- The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on Form I-130; AND
- The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-2s provided by your employers or former employers.
If you meet ALL of the above 3 criteria, you can use EZ, if not, than you use the standard form.
Thanks so much.
I like to confirm, is that a problem? I did read it.

I assume you mean an I-601a not an I-601? He entered without inspection correct?
In aggregate means in total. The answer to this question is yes. He has been illegally present in the USA for more than 1 year.
~~moved to IR1/CR1 process and procedures from DCF. OP is not doing direct consular filing~~
yes I601A

HI EVERYONE, THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS.
IM PRETTY MUCH DONE WITH THE DS260, I JUST HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS INREGARDS TO SOME QUESTIONS AND I WANT RO MAKE SURE I ANSWERED THEM CORRECTLY BEFORE SUBMITTING.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY HUSBAND, HES BEEN HERE SINCE AGE 4, 29 NOW. NEVER LEFT THE COUNTRY, DID NOT ENTER WITH A VISA SO HES HERE ILLEGALLY. ONLY ARREST WAS AT AGE 18. NO VISAS PRIOR. WE DO HAVE OUR i601 APROOVED.
THEIRS 4 QUESTIONS...
1. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE US FOR MORE THAN ONE YEAR OR MORE THAN ONE YEAR IN THE AGGREGATE AT ANY TIME DURING THE LAST 10 YRS? I ANSWERED NO (I HONESTLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION, I EVEN GOOGLED "AGGREGATE" LOL)
2.CAN YOU SPEAK/READ LANGUAGE OTHER THAN YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE? ANSWERED YES (ENGLISH)
3.HAVE YOU EVER BEEN UNLAWFULLY PRESENT, OVERSTAYED THE AMOUNT OF TIME GRANTED BY AN IMMIGRATION OFFICIAL OR OTHERWISE VIOLATED THE TERMS OF A US VISA? I ANSWERED YES (SINCE HES BEEN HERE SINCE AGE 4 (UNLAWFULLY PRESENT) EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER PART HAS TO DO WITH A VISA)
4. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE US FOR MORE THAN 180 DAYS(BUT NO MORE THAN ONE YEAR) AND HAVE VOLUNTARILY DEPARTED THE US WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS? ANSWERED NO (HES NEVER LEFT) BUT ALTHOUGH HE IS UNLAWFULY PRESENT,
5.HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ARRESTED OR CONVICTED FOR ANY OFFENSE OR CRIME EVEN THOUGH SUBJECT OF A PARDON, AMNESTY, OR OTHER SIMILAR ACTION? ANSWERED YES (SINCE HE DID GET ARRESTED AT AGE 18, WE WILL BE SUBMITING COPIES OF HIS CASE BEING DISMISSED)
ANYWAY, ITS LONG BUT I TRULY THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, THIS IS VERY CONFUSING AND DONT WANT TO MESS UP, PLEASE HELP. WOULD LIKE TO SUBMIT ASAP.

As a CR-1 you don't do the I-134, you do the I-864 through NVC. Once that is completed the case is sent to the consulate. I am guessing the I-601A has already been approved.
yes waiver is aprooved.
I log into the CEAC account and I see the Affidavit of support there, so im guessing that's where ill fill it out??
Im pretty much done with his DS260 but have a few questions before submitting... ill start a new question.

Don't forget the actual I-134 form. They also recommend W2s for the last three years, taxes filed for the last three years, at least 6-12 bank statements. Other things such as investments accounts, savings, property deed, etc. might help as well. Anything to show that the petitioner earns 125% over the poverty line according to the household size and that the beneficiary can be supported indefinitely without becoming dependant on the government (i.3. Welfare, etc.).
when do i do the I134 form?
After Ds260?

If he lives here why does he need a visa?
OK, looked at your post history and he EWI as a 4-year-old child and has been here ever since. You answered it correctly.
Yay im glad, i was confused.
-
So i am confused, while working on my husbands DS260 their is a question on the previous travel information part:
"have you ever been in the US'?
I answered yes because he lives here since age 4 and never left the country, did i answer it correctly? I said hes been here 25 years.
I have not finished the whole application quite yet, if i answered it incorrectly then i can go back and change it.
Please help. thank you in advance.

What did you submit along with the Affadavit of support?
How was your experience?
Im guessing paystubs will do, last years tax. maybe employer letter.

What browser are you using? I noticed once I had swapped to Chrome I had no more issues with the form... I had tried on safari and firefox and both kicked me out wouldn't let me save etc. It may be worth trying another browser to see if that helps.
It worked!! Thank you.

This was over 10* years ago and his Case has been dismissed. That’s what we sent in with the i601a and it got approved thank God.

Currently working on the DS260 and one of the questions asked if he’s either been arrested or comitted for a crime. Husband got arrested when he was 18 but not jailed. What records should we ask for at the court house to send in. I want to make sure I get all forms needed and no RFE.
TIA.

Thanks everyone. Everyone has been very helpful on here

Can I start the DS260 and save what I’ve already entered and return later or do I need to finish the application all at once.
Wondering before I start it...

If you do it by email, be sure to include both your full names and dates of birth as well as the information about which lawyer you are firing.
How do i get the email address? Ive searched the website and find nothing. Ive tried NVC inquiry but somehow his birthday isnt accurate...
i called them last week to give me an invoice id in order to even begin his DS260 online cause lawyer never mentioned it. Weve wasted years with her, we started in 2015 and barely got our waiver aprooved. Which were happy about but i do feel confident to do the rest on our own. Attorney doesnt get things done quickly. I feel dumb weve waited this long. Happy i found this website.

Anyone know what form i must submit to notify NVC im no longer using my attorney?
im about to start my husbands ds260 application and i want all info coming to me now.

Lil Bear,

Yes sadly he needs to leave for his interview.
We've been asked to file the DS260 along with the Affadavit of support before even getting an interview date.
I do have originals and copies of all the prior forms we’ve sent from I130, I824 and I601A.
Im applying for the 201 B INA Spouse of US
Affadavit of support

Husband and I filed jointly the last 2 years, do I enter how much we both made together in the form from the transcript and then send in out tax returns too??
