no, kept all photocopies. My wife thought all original docs were kept. i reconfirmed with her. they kept photocopy

Thanks a zillion to Almighty God. My wife's visa has been approved today for Dhaka, Bangladesh.
No question about medical insurance. They kept all original civil documents and said that they would return them after 15 days.
Interview wait time was longer. Everything went well. Good luck to everyone else who are waiting for DQ, IL and interview.

Did you mean 8:30am instead of 7:30? IL says 8:30am.
Next immigration step is removing condition from green card. It applies to my wife. not sure about your hubby.

Three federal judges have put this process on hold effective Oct 15, 2019. I spoke to an attorney. They said it is not valid and will not go effect unless judge decides to put this rule back in place. Google it. Read the news

@naz94 how long did your husband stay at embassy? how long was he with officer? like talk about marriage? what kind of questions did they ask, if you dont mind sharing with us?
This is major step. Another major step is removing condition greencard.

I dont know if this will take effect on nov 3rd because 3 federal judge blocked this rule. it has not been unblocked yet.

After his medical was done, the clinic staff told him to come back in 10 days to pick up his medical report and the X-ray CD. During his interview the employees just ask to see it and gave it right back.When he is going to get his Yellow Package?
When the beneficiary picks up passport. But for Bangladesh they are sending the yellow package (says do not open) electronically. His passport has an annotation that says “IV docs in CCD” so It’s already sent electronically and customs officer can pull it up at POE.Did they keep his original documents with them or just gave it back to him?
They just asked him to have the original documents and his passport in his hand when he first entered. They just saw it and returned it back to him.
Did they ask for the medical examination receipts?
They just check to see if he had it and so hubby showed it to them and gave it right back to him.
They didnt do any x-ray for my wife. She received bunch of shot for which she has fever now :(. She was told that everything came out good. All result will be sent electronically to US Embassy.

Google alien registration. It used to be green card number. My old bangladeshi passport from 1996 still have alien registration stamp which used to be US visa back then. I also checked my naturalization certificate. That has alien registration or green card number. They all matches.
I dont know how it works now. May be someone from this group can confirm. I am almost 90% certain about it. Check this out

@naz94 when your hubby arrives and receives his gc, you will notice it, I think. I think NVC generates it. When it generates alien number. thats like 70% confirm that you will get visa inshaAllah. Just matter of waiting for last step which is interview. It will issue you visa once you prove that you are for whom petitioner applied. They used to generate alien number when your visa is approved at consulate back in 2016 and prior. Now it is different i guess. May
be someone can confirm.
My aunt came back in 2018. nVC used to issue letter in pdf and attach it to the email. I dont know if they still do that or not. I just checked their interview letter from Jan, 2018. It didnt have alien registration number on it. May be this is new process or may be this is for cr1/ir1 catagory only? My aunt came in F4 visa.

Just checked my case status on CEAC. It says "READY". what does that mean? Visa is read, but haven't issued yet because waiting for interview?

Question - Whoever received IL, did you get A - ##### at the bottom of the letter? That is actually alian registration number which is green card. I wonder if they generate them in advance.

Thanks a billion to Almighty. Just woke up and received IL. OMG! I was expecting to receive IL in Nov and interview date to be in December 2019. My DQ/CC is August 6th. Guess what? IL is on November 4th. I have only 14 days. I emailed NVC to expedite my case. State department said it was denied. However, I also emailed Dhaka, Bangladesh about this. They said they would look into it. I think it worked. I know people whose case was completed on July, 2019 have interview date end of Nov, 2019. I got Interview at the beginning of Nov, 2019. Anyway, thank Allah.

Did you apply for your spouse In Jan, 2019 and received I-130 approval in April? That's really fast. I saw that in your profile timeline. I applied in Sept, 2018 and received approval in May, 2019. Long time. Anyway, is your DQ date August 12. Case complete date. Mine completed on August 6th, 2019. I haven't received IL yet. If you do, please post it here. Looks like August DQ candidate will receive IL in November, 2019. That means December, 2019 is Interview

Had my interview at Dhaka consulate this morning. Appointment was scheduled for 8AM. The entire process lasted about two hours including wait times. The actual interview itself lasted for about 45 seconds. I sort of get the impression that the decision had been made and they only wanted to hear some of the info coming straight from the source aka the beneficiary. A very casual, almost boring conversation.
The CO only looked at my original civil docs and the wedding photos.

Answered.

Got home to check the CEAC status change to issued by 12 noon, with ustraveldocs stating ''Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery''.

Still have not received IL for August 6th, 2019 yet. Praying to God to receive it soon. Can't wait to get together with my wife. It has been almost 15 months that I am away from her. -

do you if those girls are cr1/ir1 visa or k1? I think K1 can schedule their own interview. Hope they arent Fxx catagory. I guess it doesnt matter once nvc completes the case. Embassy sends IL for candidate as first come first serve basis.

I was totally surprised when those girls told me they got IL so early in the month. I was thinking they would get it starting Monday. And they really picked up their slack. scheduling those DQ from probably June 16-July for Interviews at the end of this month and end of July DQ for next month interview. So maybe they might still be scheduling for next month for August DQ. With all that happened this past summer I wouldn’t be surprised.
Great, where did you find out about those girls IL? FB? Also, let us know if you find out anything about anyone's case in August.

I got an update a little while ago about another girl who got an IL also. Her CC is July 31st for November 27th Interview. So your not too far away from an IL. Best of luck and keep me posted!
will do. I am surprised that they are sending IL now. It is not even middle of the
month yet like 14 or 15. which category is that? May be they have started to send IL from starting this week. If July 31 has received it, I am close. Mine is August 6th. Looks like I might receive interview date in December. Thanks again

@naz94 My wife visa was approved on last Monday. USCIS shows that visa has been "Issued". Passport tracking shows that "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery". Sounds like they received all documents from consulate, but still processing. I guess we should contact them tomorrow morning BD time and check the status. Any suggestion?
