Interview Was Scheduled
On July 9, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXX. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

All right! My interview was over about an hour ago. All in all it was quick, easy and not stressful at all! 😀
It was scheduled for 8:55 am at Portland OR filed office. I came by 8:35, registered at the front desk where they asked for my appointment confirmation letter and my green card. They took a picture of me and checked my fingerprints. 
After that, at about 8:45, I went to the waiting room at the second floor. There you wait for them to call your name. Mine was called at about 9:00. 
An officer met me there, and we went to his office. He was really nice, asked me about my trip from Eugene to Portland, and we discussed that while we were walking to the office. Once we were in his office, he asked me to provide my green card and passport. It seemed that he did not care much about my DL, he wanted the passport to see where and when I travelled. He made a couple of comments on the numerous stamps in my passport, and I told him that I had never left US since I came here. Then he asked me to promise that I will only tell truth. He asked me to check my full legal name, date of birth, address, etc. Right after that we did all the tests: he read out the questions, and I answered 6 of them:
what is an amendment?
the question about Eisenhower.
what is one responsibility that is only for U.S. citizens?
what is the name of the Vice President?
in what month do we vote for President?
We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?
(I think I remember them all correctly) 
After that he asked me to read a sentence from the screen: Where is the White House? And write a sentence on the same screen: the White House is in Washington D.C.
Then he went through my application and asked me the same questions that are in the application. Pretty standard questions, nothing outstanding really. And then all the ‘have you ever’ questions. 
Then he asked me check my info and sign a couple of documents on the screen, and that was it! It was all approved, and they invited me for an oath ceremony today at 1:30. 
The interview took about 20 minutes (including all the walking to and from his office), so 15 minutes really. Again, the officer was really friendly, and said that my application was really nice and clear, and made his work easy.
 
Not sure if this is too much detail, but if anyone has questions, do ask. I’m just kind of excited and might have missed something that might be of importance.

Hi everyone,  today we finally reached the end of our visa journey and became proud citizens

The website updated with the interview date & time;  Monday, August 12th @ 7:40 am.  A bit early so we'll probably spent the night at a hotel close to the office so we don't have to worry about traffic in the morning as it can be up to a two hour drive during rush hour.

After 104 days my interview is schedule.Will update u on the date.

Yay! Well July 10th is a Wednesday so you’re probably able to attend the ceremony also since my interview was also on a Wednesday ! My interview was at 9:20 and the ceremony at 1:30!
yes we got our certificate after the ceremony! I guess they print the certificates the same day if you decide to attend the ceremony! 

Hey! That's great! Congratulations! I'm having my interview in Portland on July 10th, and I hope I can get to the oath ceremony the same day too. That would be just perfect! Did they give you the certificate of naturalization right away? 

Hi just an update for Portland Oregon applicants! I had my interview last week, 6/19 and was able to attend the oath ceremony the same day! The whole process took 3 months. 
Online the estimated time was 12 months so the Portland office was way faster than that!! 

Had my interview a couple of days ago and was recommended for approval! Now just waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled

Hello Everyone,
 
So my wife had her interview today and she was recommended for approval....... Yayyyyyyyyyy 🙂 
 
The hardest part was waiting 1 1/2 hrs to be called into the interview room while the interview lasted 13mins. My wife only remembers 5 out of the 6 questions she was asked:
 
1) How many judges in the supreme court?
2) What is the last day to file taxes?
3) Why are there 50 stars on the flag?
4) Who is the commander in chief?
5) When was the constitution written?
 
Reading Test: Who lives in the white house?
Writing Test: The President lives in the white house.
 
She walked with a ton of documents but all their asked for were the green card and passport. 
 
When we got home the status online changed to "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled"

got an email from uscis this morning that I need to open my account then found out  my oath ceremony will be on June 06, 2019 it on Thursday.. I surprise it so pass.
