Just filed online today (April 25th)!  I am IR1 (10 yr green card received Jan 8th, 2019, no interview)  Resident since 2/22/16.  Local office is New Orleans.  Let the wait begin....sounds of jeopardy theme song in my head....

    Welcome and Best of Luck!

Hello everyone! just filed N400 online, very excited to be in the home stretch. My field office is Chicago, so the processing time seems excessive at 9.5 months to 18 months. Hopefully we'll be the exception and complete this stage in 5-6 months ☺️

Welcome! And good luck with your application!

@Vikingoutwest what's the resource you have about my field office? Please post it 🤣🤣🤣

I am so sorry if I misunderstood! I was talking about the resource shearar posted, and your reply to him sounded like that one was listing your field office as faster than your uscis resource did - 6 months instead of 9.5? Again I am really sorry if I read that wrong! I got excited for you 🙂

The hard true is, some of us will wait longer than others. My field office isn't on a fast pace either. 😊😊 Philadelphia field office is operating on a snail move for N-400 compare to yours. 9.5 months. I will be shocked if I receive interview letter by July; but I wish.😂😂

Yes unfortunately some offices seem to be way slower/busier than others:-( Hopefully, your case is an easy one and the "snail" will be speedy after your biometrics! 😄

Oh just saw that the other timeline resource list your office faster and yay that is good news :=D

@Vikingoutwest, your field office is taking 6.5 months for N-400. It's my guesstimate that you will be one of few people among us to have an early interview letter based on your field office processing speed.

o.0 Wow! I really hope that is true 😄 Thank you very much for finding that for me. I wish everyone a speedy process though!

@Natfor2019, your field office is Hartford, CT. That office is taking 10 months in processing N-400. However, that time could be reduced based on data I have seen here.

Hi @chars I was wondering how you find out these timelines? Is there any way you could check for me too? I am in Oregon and I believe my field office is Portland, Or. Thank you for all your answers to people on here - it is very helpful 🙂

@VikingoutwestEstimated wait time is  almost the same for both of us for biometrics..We submitted application also same date :) Completion time 12 months vs 13 months..Good luck!

Oh wow, that's cool! I will be watching your progress then hehe 🙂 I bet the different service centers have very different timelines, but still, it's nice to have an estimate. Are you applying on 5 year rule too?

    Hi,

I just learned through the online application that my biometrics has been scheduled for May 6.

I was just at that USCIS location less than a month ago for the I-751 biometrics, even though it was a code 3. Now it's a code 5.

Congratulations on your biometrics appointment being scheduled! Sorry you have to go again so soon though, too bad they don't just use the one you just did...but excellent that your case is progressing! 🙂
