My husband brought a new I-864 because we had some major changes since we submitted it. I had moved back to the US and gotten a new job. We emailed our embassy ahead of the interview and they said my husband could bring a scanned copy of the updated one.

Thank you for a reply :)

Actually, I called US Embassy about that question and got the answer mail yesterday.

The answer mail says "You don't need to bring I-864 if it wasn't changed after submitting to NVC".

    Exactly.

The consulate requires you to come with the documents you uploaded on CEAC.

Just make copies of it and you'll be fine.

    All the best!

    Thanks :)

But I was relieved to read your answer till I got the mail.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Cony,

Thank you so much for your kind reply!!!🙏 This is relieving to hear, as we found someone online who waited 6 weeks to 4 months until the issue has been resolved. So the fact that they resolved it in one week is encouraging, we have been so far 10 days and have submitted an inquiry online 10 days ago for that through the ceac website. When we call, they just tell us to wait and that they don't know the timelines for the it issues as they are not connected to NVC

Can I ask you please, which email did you use for that? or which link? Perhaps I can try some other way also...

We have been in this process for 15 months now and counting, so getting stuck like that and not moving at all is very daunting.

    Thank you again!!!

My husband sent an email with some attachments from below.

    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html?wcmmode=disabled

The attachments are screenshots of the error page.

Actually, my husband called nvc twice. The first operator told us to just wait till CEAC was fixed. Second told us to send an email.

So the answer depends on the operator. But either seemed not to know about website's error.

why don't you call NVC again if you can? If you can't get the different answer from it which you got before, you should send email to NVC.

    Dear NVC buddies,

Has anyone encountered an Application Error on your AOS?

I am stuck in this Error message since the 24th of October - the time when they reviewed my documents and asked to resubmit one document. Already checked from different browsers and computers, submitted queries, calling NVC and not getting much of a reply or information. Meanwhile the case is in "INCOMPLETE", so no one would touch it until it is complete...😭

Has anyone here had any luck escalating their technical issues and getting through? It seems like it is nowhere and will be nowhere until I find a way to get through to the right department, which apparently it is not NVC and is CEAC... with all the maintenance issues going on I doubt that my single case is anything of the priority, if they even know about it...

Would appreciate any advice on what to try here or your experience if this happened to you...

    Thank you!!!

    Hi,

I think you're in the same situation as us of 1.5 months ago.

In our case, my husband called NVC and complained about the problem as soon as we found the problem. An operator of NVC said "please send us email about the problem and wait till it was fixed".

And we sent email to NVC and just waited while checking CEAC everyday.

In about a week, we could proceed.

Presumably you've tried multiple browsers, private tabs, etc?  Make sure all ad block is disabled or any extensions that can cause problems.  Even try from a new location / tethered from your phone to the extent your ISP is causing issues.  If you're one of the only people with issues it seems likely that the issue is related to your environment so it's worth eliminating that as a factor.  Maybe something is wrong with your account that obviously only the NVC can resolve, but in the meantime you might as well explore all options.

Also, submitted docs on Aug 15 and got DQ on Sept 18.  Priority date of Sept 18, 2018, so 365 days exactly to this point.  Ireland.

I've tried Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox by using my PC and iPhone. Of course my husband has tried, too. But the error page appears.

I'll try any ways as many as I can think of, as you said.

Unfortunately it's all about waiting in this whole immigration process.

I really hope they look into your situation sooner.

But if I were you, I will still call after some days just in case.

Reason being it's not your fault you can't upload documents on their website.

They have to do something about it ASAP. You don't have to suffer for what you know nothing about.

I'll ask my husband to call NVC several days later.

That's all we can do, I think 😢

Thank you so much for helping me.

Seems you've been having this particular problem for too long.

I'd suggest you call NVC for clarifications

My husband already called NVC two times.

The first staff said only "please resubmit documents after error is fixed", and the second said " please send us email about the error with screen shots of the error page".

Though my husband send email today, NVC website says that they are responding emails recieved on August 19th now.

I must wait more than a month...

  8. We got a message from NVC today. It said only "tax return". So my husband called NVC and asked what it was. The staff of NVC said

"Your documents were all right. But two documents about tax return should upload separately. So please resubmit them."

    Just only for a reason!?😱

In addition, the CEAC website has

any problems so I can't upload anything now.

    I'm very disappointed.

    Hi guys,

my husband and I have proceeded to collect and submit documents to the NVC.

But I wonder if we don't have to choose our agent.

Now I can't click on the button "CHOICE OF ADDRESS AND AGENT" of our CEAC page. I might be able to click on it before we paid fees. We should watch the CEAC page carefully...

What can we do against this situation?

    Help me...

Sorry, I solved this problem maybe..
