Didn't get RFE but the interviewing officer didn't have our medicals in our files so didn't approve us on the day. We were expecting RFE to get them done again. 6 weeks later we got approved with no explanation.

Hello guys. Today had our interview at 8am.
    We are approved!
It was super easy. Very pleasant woman asked questions from 485 form and standard.
she told that we sent enough documents for to make decision.
For now I am really happy!
Wish you guys interviews as the easiest part!
Ps: Detroit office is really fast. We sent documents in february....

We went through security, showed our IDs and the interview notice. Then we waited and our assigned officer called us in for the interview (15 min late). I brought a biiiig binder full of documents, but he wasn't  interested in it. He said we don't need that much stuff now, we will need it for the next (10 year GC) interview. He was really nice. We got asked only 2 personal questions: how we met and if we live in a house or an apartment. Other than that he just went through the aos form and confirmed me is me. He asked what evidence I brought and said I can give him copies for our file. I gave him photos and other papers and contracts and he barely looked at it. The rest of the appointment was just small talk. I think it took like 10 min tops. He was surprised I got my SSN already, said Michigan is strict with it.
He also warned me not to let anyone register me to vote when getting a driving license.
Overall, it was really easy! We had a strong feeling the decision was made before we even showed up...
    Good luck!

We arrived at 9.21 (appointment at 9.40) security checks bit strict. Shows our ID's and We have to take our shoe's off before walk through the metal detector. My husband bring the small aerosol spray in his bag (glass cleaner) and security say he cant bring it to the building so he had to go back to the car to save the spray. Then to reception to confirm our appointment. They will check our appointment letter and show where we have to wait for the interview.
The officer called us for interview  around 9.55. The interview begins by asking  to raise our right hand and swear to tell the truth during the interview. Then took a pict and fingerprint. 1st question is about how we met and my husband tell her from how we met, why decide the K1, and how we get married here. Then the question only about yes or no question from the AOS form, then confirm all data from the form (my name, birth date, my parents name, etc ). She also realize i made a mistake on the form ( I wrote my middle name as the first name, my husband name as my middle name, and my first name as family name) she said she will fixed that. She asked any evidence that we bring for interview. I gave her our files and she only took some of docoment:
-recent tax document (w2, tax return)
    -my husband pay stubs
    -Employment letter
-insurance confirmation from my husband company that's stated me as his spouse
-copy of family ID card from my husband company
-wedding documentations (i print some of our wedding pict in paper)
Actually she want me to show my ssn card but i dont bring it (i say i dont know i have to bring that and we should not bring it anywhere) she said no problem.
Then she say everything is ok and i will got my GC within 14 days (maximum, but usually faster) and explains that i have to apply for ROC in the next 21 months.
Well i think the hardest part of this all process is waiting patiently

Good luck for everyone who still waiting.. it will be your turn soon..

Don’t judge everyone on someone’s experience! Not everyone applies for asylum for no reason..some people really need it! You don’t know my story too. And I’m not “scouting” anyone to get married to get papers! I have a daughter and I love my husband there’s no reason to wait for asylum for YEARS when I can go through AOS.

Thank you. I hope so I swear. Because sometimes they are not fair the way they schedule interviews. My husband was waiting for his citizenship interview for over a year when other people get it within 5-6 months..kills me...

See, I was wondering because my bio appt was on Jan 24th and my interview is already scheduled. I'm adjusting from k1 and I think they do this category the fastest. That's what I have noticed here. But also, it's only a 2 day difference. Hope you hear something soon!
