Hi! My fiancée just had her K1 interview at the US Embassy in Manila and was approved! 🙏👍
Her interview lasted less than five minutes, and she was only asked one question that dealt with our relationship... that was “what is the name of your fiancee,” I believe. She carried a loaded expandable file we spent weeks putting together, but they only asked for one document — my W2. All I can say is putting the extra work into the I-129 petition was well worth it. I did more than necessary... included plenty of proof of relationship and meeting, and we were very detailed in writing our letters of intent to marry. My fiancée my completeness of what I sent as a big reason it went so easily. Thanks for the advice from others here who told me what she would and wouldn’t need in terms of proof of my income. I’m so thankful, elated, and excited. 😊
