No I only bring my passport, driver's license and my green card. That was all that was asked of me. That said, I applied following the 5 years rule and have my account and tax transcript uploaded online
Just a quick update for those with Chicago as their field office. I had my interview today and my status changed to oath ceremony will be scheduled within 3 hours.
I have a great experience at the Chicago field office. Everyone was super nice and friendly, especially their security. I went from super nervous to just relaxed by the time I went to the waiting area. The wait wasn't long. I had my appointment at 1.15pm and I was called in at 1.20pm.
Those of you that intends to change your name needs to practice your new signature. They'll need you to sign on the horrible touch pad that barely worked for your Naturalization certificate. I was caught off guard with that the proceed to struggle with the stylus for close to 5 mins. I think that's the most difficult part of my whole interview.
I filed a day after you. Still waiting for any updates. Hopefully it goes fast. I also just moved to Chicago so unsure if Chicago will take longer than my previous fo.
That's good to know. I'm in Peoria so I'm sort of somewhere in the middle. I'm just glad to know I don't have to travel to Missouri for oath since I travel a lot to Chicago for work.
