Thanks, I have that taken care of. I hope all goes well on saturday.

I have a question, for whatever reason, my i751 GC was delivered to my old address and It hasn't been forwarded to me. My wife's oath ceremony is on saturday morning and I won't have the GC to return in hand. I spoke to UCSIS and was told to state I never received the card. Has anyone heard of a situation like this?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hi All,
We had our N400 interview on Oct. 23 and it was just an N400 interview with an update that my wife's I-751 will be approved in 2 weeks and N-400 is reccommended for approval. The following days, we received two updates that our case has been transferred and then transfer again to our local office (which is apparently the norm when it comes to N-400 combo). On 11-6, we received an update that our I-751 GC is in production and she has been placed in line for Oath. Following day, we received the date for her oath and I-751 was approved concurrently. Thankful for this process almost coming to an end. Oath ceremony is on December 2nd.
PS:
We did not have a combo interview. She went in alone for her N-400 interview.

I see, I filed online so the cover letter would still be lost in docs 😕
I filed online as well and all uploads are labeled so I'm sure we should have not much to worry about. I've heard N-400 move pretty quickly so I hope yours is just around the corner as well.

So I just got my online account unlocked, and I submitted my N-400 online last night. You guys were right: not even 5 minutes after payment, and I already got a notification that biometrics will be reused.
Hey just to provide info. We applied for our I-751 in September 2023 and it's still has no change after biometric reuse since last november. We were eligible to apply for N-400 in July and we recieved a notice that our interview is scheduled for Next month. So definitely the best if it's available.
Kind regards,
Mohammed

Always assume it's a combo. It may or may not be a combo interview, but you have to be prepared. Did you include I-751 receipt in your N-400 submission?
Yes, I notified them of my pending I-751 and what the latest status was and to consider us for a combo interview.

Hi All,
We applied for our N400 on July 12th this year. We were told that our biometrics would be used from our previous I751 ROC. We received a notification that our N400 interview is scheduled for next month. Can I assume it is a combo interview? Thank you in advance for your help.

Anyone else getting ready to file for citizenship to try to speed up the process? I'll become eligible in August and started filling out the online form this week.
Hi,
Yeah, We just applied for the n400 this week. Our I-751 is still pending, the last update we had was an 48 month extension in June. Our Biometrics was reused from our I-485.
Also our estimate completion for N400 shows 9 months, so let's see how true that is. -

I am still in my 24 month period since I filed in September 2022. I have my biometrics reused but I never received that confirmation paper. So I am thinking that is what it is.

She should try removing social security card restrictions by bringing her GC and I-751 extension letter to social security administration.
Yes, I just filled out the application and now I will take her in to get this done.

If she doesn’t have an unrestricted social security card, she should be able to easily get one from an SSA office as long as her GC is not expired
The GC is expired (Pending I-751) is filed.

She should update her social security card to remove wording similar to "Valid for Work Only With DHS Authorization" if she has it written.
Then she can only show her state ID or driver license and Social Security card.
Another, but bad option is to use green card and extension letter. This is bad because some employers don't understand how it works and can ask for new proof when her extension letter is close to expiration. It's not worth going this route.
I appreciate your help and quick response.

What's your immigration status? I suppose US citizen? You only need to show unrestricted social security card and driver license or ID.
Apologies for the miscommunication, I am asking for my wife because of her I-751.

Hi All,
My wife has an I-751 pending, but I wanted to ask, what do I need to show an employer for work authorization?
Can someone help me with this please?
Kind regards,

This is some BS from USCIS. I spoke to two different reps via chat after sending the inquiry on 11/09 and both did nothing. That I had to wait. Still no response on the inquiry either. SMH.
I guess it worked better for you! Glad you got movement.
Yeah, I had the same issue, The last one was very helpful, the ones before her were not This was my second request as well.

Anyone with updates on submitting inquiries for biometrics? Our 30 days of the inquiry will be December 9th. If no response or action, we will send one on the 10th. Going on 70 days since they received the case without a word on the biometrics appointment.
Hey,
I just received an update on my inquiry on the 11-17, that "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken."
I did an inquiry on October 31st for the Biometrics.
NOA date is 9-26-22.

How we’re you able to place an inquiry via call? Did you speak with an agent? Or just requested case status? Thank you
Hi,
Yes, through an agent I was able to make a service request and she said she would put one in for the fingerprint being "reused".

How to put inquiry for biometric? Can you share please.
I would actually call and make the inquiry or service request.
This is the USCIS contact number:
1-800-375-5283.
Let me know if you have anymore questions?

Hi All,
So I sent out two inquiries almost 3 weeks ago.
Thankfully the response was given to both of them, one was my I-797 was lost in the mail and they sent out another one.Second, I read about the Biometrics being used and put in an inquiry for that as well, I received an update yesterday 11-17 that:
My received date 9-26-22 and my service center is Nebraska.
So, I would send out the inquiries but it also depends on how helpful the information specialists are as well. This was my second set of inquiries after the first ones didn't yield any result.
