  1. Hi, I received a message from NVC today saying:" ToraBora does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted. FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial sponsors, joint sponsors, and applicants should be aware of responsibilities when signing an I-864 and the consequences for a sponsored immigrant's acceptance of federal means-tested public benefits. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos"

I think this is an error as my income for this year should be around 38k, and 2019 tax return gross income is 24k which is highrer than the 125% of HHS Poverty ($21,550 for 2 household members)

Should I start looking for a sponsor or am I good, as I can provide more pay stubs to the CO? Thank you.

  2. Hi, I just received an email from NVC that the embassy is willing to expedite my IR1 case.

    Dear Sir/Madam:

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case when all required fees, forms, and documents have been received and reviewed.

Please log onto the Department of State’s Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) website, ceac.state.gov, to ensure you have paid all required fees and all documents have an ‘Accepted’ status. You will receive a ‘Documentarily Qualified’ notice indicating the NVC has completed all processing, at which point your case will be automatically forwarded to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate."

How's this even expedited if it's going to wait for NVC to review & accept the documents?? Thank you!

I am waiting for approval of I-130, I did an Inquiry and they answered this, what does it mean?

The status of this service request is:

On 10/22/2019, you contacted USCIS concerning your I-130 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 90 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Your case has been assigned to an officer, you should received a notice within 10 days I guess.  What's your PD?
