Hello everyone I have seen a lot of comments and confusion regarding the spouse visa. I have applied for my Wife recently I can provide you all with all the steps I took and my I-130 was approved

    within 5 months.

    1. Fill I-130 form

    2. fill I-130A form

    3. attach 2 passport size of you and your spouse.

4.attach the U.S passport copy or Green Card copy.
5.if US citizen attach birth certificate or naturalization certificate.

    6. Ask 2 people who attended your wedding to write a Affidavit Of Marriage letter mentioning their name, address their relationship with you. and don’t forget to attest it and attach their ID or driver License. Not that many people know about this step I would highly recommend to do that.
    7. Attach some of your wedding photos.

    8. Attach your driver license or ID copy.

    9. Attach English translation nikkah.

    10. Attach Urdu nikkah .

    11. Attach NADRA issued marriage certificate.

Don’t confuse yourself.. keep your application transparent and make sure all your documents are up to date. I hope This thread will help you guys.

What is NADRA marriage certificate? Just curios.

F2B- my case was approved on July 25. The letter says that they will send me the interview date. I read that it only takes 69 days to schedule an interview. It’s passed 60 days.

Does anyone know if the NVC started sending out interviews for cases F2B?

i see that people that were approved in June already have interviews for this month.

is it possible that cases approved in July for Dominican Republic are getting interview dates this month?

    That's your PD?

  3. Please don't do it. Wait till you get your naturalization certificate in hand and then file. I did the same mistake, flled I-130 for my wife on 02/2019 when I was LPR. The case was sent to the California center, I got my citizenship in July and I called to upgrade, sent proof of citizenship and nothing since. My case should be transferred to the Texas or Nebraska...centers because California's only process for LPR. Do yourself a favor and wait. YMMV by the way.

    Congratulations!! 🎊

where did you apply for your passport? Did you bring your passport application with you or you just filled it out after?

I went to a nearby court to apply for the passport as there is no passport agent in my ceremony. Yes, I had the application filled beforehand, a picture and 2 personal checks. One check for the court fee ($35) and the other for the passport fee ($170) and my naturalization certificate along with my driver's license.

    Congrats!!!

    was the civics test hard???

No at all, the questions were:

1- how many judges are in the supreme court?

2- What's the capital of Pennsylvania?

    3- Name two national holidays

    4- What is an amendment?

5- Who's the current governor of PA?

6- When we celebrate the independence day?

Reading: When is the thanksgiving? I have to read that. Then write the answer: Thanksgiving is in November.

Then he went over my application and asked me a lot of questions... That was it.

    My interview was in Philly.
