Just got my biometrics notice in the mail - my appointment is 8/20!

My timeline as a January Filer:
Jan 8th - Mail in application
Jan 10th - Arizona receives my application
February 6th - I still had nothing in the mail, no acknowledgement, so I called USCIS. They found no record of it being mailed so put in a request to "re-send"
February 15 - Received email that they would resend my NOA
February 23rd - Received the NOA in the mail
    March 23rd - GC expired
August 10th - Biometrics Notice came in the mail

JUST GOT MY NOA IN THE MAIL!
    Sequence of events:
Jan 8th - Mail in application
Jan 10th - Arizona receives my application
February 6th - I still had nothing in the mail, no acknowledgement, so I called USCIS. They put in a case to resend the notice.
February 15 - Received email that they would resend my NOA (I don't believe they actually mailed it the first time)
February 23rd - Received the NOA in the mail
March 23rd - my green card expires

My NOA says it's an 18 month extension, so I guess they're not messing around with 12 month ones anymore. I'll probably be applying for citizenship before I heard back on this.

My case was received at the Arizona Lockbox location on Jan 10th, but I hadn't received a NOA yet, so I called on February 6th. They started a case for me, and today (Feb 15) I finally received an email that they're going to "resend" the NOA. Obviously they didn't send it the first time. But they say they did and now they are "resending" it. The bright side is that the email gave me my Receipt number, which I did not have to look my case up online due to never having received a receipt!

Aw man. I am so jealous of you. I sent mine January 8th, they received it January 10th. I called USCIS and it was processed fully on January 14th. Still no NOA! The disparity in how quickly applications are being handled is insane.

For reference for anyone else who looks here:
Today I called USCIS (800-375-5283) and got through to a human who was actually very friendly and helpful. I had mailed my package on Jan 8th, and I had tracking confirmation that it was accepted on Jan 10th, but it's Feb 6 now and no NOA in the mail. The person on the phone at USCIS confirmed that it was received on Jan 10th and told me that it was fully processed and in the system on Jan 14th. But then he said there was no record of a receipt (Notice of Action, Extension Letter) being sent, and no case number (I wanted a case number so that I could just look online instead of having to call in).

He gave me a referral ID for my call, and he said he was putting a case in to resend the receipt, due to failure to send. He said it's even possible that it was put into the system, but that the process of the printers printing everything out and mailing it just didn't happen 😕

Neither he or my bank were able to confirm if they had cashed my cashier's check, but I have to assume that they would not have fully processed my case if they weren't paid to do it.  He said that now someone will be assigned to investigate my case as to why it was not sent, and that if I haven't heard back in 30 (THIRTY!?!) days that I should call again and use my reference ID. My green card expiry date is March 24th, so I'll probably be calling earlier than that.

Also it seems like he really appreciated that I was nice and calm and happy on the phone with him. So keep that in mind if you call USCIS.

I'm reposting this here from a separate thread I made, in case anyone is in the same boat as me:
