  1. Were there any obvious red flags :

    a. Like the duration of your relationship.

    b. Age Difference between the 2 of you.

    c. Were there any questions the CO might have asked during the interview that they suspected ?

other things constituting red flags like different religion, female 15 yrs or ,more older than the male , more than 2-3 marriages with kids , age proof not sufficient n tallying coz it may be notarised age proof n not the original birth certificate ,

p.s the original birth certificate from mci with name , age , fathers name imprinted is a very big eveidence for persons identity .

  2. Hi list,

My Fiance'e has received the following information from U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, India:

The Consulate General regrets it is unable to issue a visa at this time. Section 221 (g) of the U.S Immigration and Nationality Act prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone who has failed to present the documents required in connection with their visa application, or who has otherwise failed to meet the requirements of U.S. law or regulations governing issuance of a visa. The following remarks apply in your case:

A list of all the petitioner's and beneficiary's relatives living in the US and India, with complete contact address information, telephone, and dates of birth (include cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, children, nephews, and nieces, and all in-laws). For those relatives who live in the US but were not born there, describe how they came to the US, when, under what visa type, and the names they used when they immigrated. Please provide FAMILY names.

All ration cards, voter ID cards, and voter lists for the beneficiary and her parents from 1995 to present.

    I have the following questions:

    1. Is it better to get advice from a attorney at this point?

    2. Why do they ask this kind of information?

    3. What will hapeen next after submitting the above information?

    4. How long will it take to get the visa after submitting the above information?

    5. Do they do back ground check on each person (cousing, aunt etc)?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks in advance

    Raj

this is so nonsense and moreso so traumatic

i wish something to be done to stop causing headaches n mental stress to both petitioner n beneficiary .

  3. hello all,,

I have a question regarding the passport/visa pick up after it is approved. I am getting some mixed answers. On VJ what I have seen is that everybody is saying they will mail your passport with visa stamped in it to you thru mail. but I was talking to my wife and one of her friend had a inteview (CR1) and she picked up her visa/passport in the afternoon. Is there such an option available now a days? anybody has any suggestions? thanks

yes definetely, same day but in the afternoon,

but in courier also u wil be receving it the very next day or 2 .

  4. p.s u must give all details of family members along with the what u can mention in sheet is that unknown or no idea about residence for those members which u think wont be compliant for your relationship.

  5. simple_male;

I am sorry to hear that. But there is nothing to worry about. They issue 221(g) to many visa applicants. Just provide what they asked for. Provide all relatives info residing in USA and provide your relatives' info in India too. Try as much as you can to obtain DOB, if you are unable to get DOB, just list their ages and mention why you are not able to get those. After you provide them those info, they may contact your relatives or they may not contact them. So just provide what they asked you to provide.

100% i agree with simple on this topic,

u should mention all the de tails if some of them r not compliant then dont worry u can just mention vaguely about them n not give thr entire detail like addresses etc

it was sorry to hear that delhi is giving had time,

u can personal message me - if there are any specific reasons u dont want to mention here

i will try to deal with it in my best

i have really tried my best with few people on aa.p with the problm in thr case n how to go abt it,

    tk care-

    3. Does my wife have to submit them in person or can I request my brother to submit the documents?

(do they verify any information etc. which would require my wife to be in person at the VFS office)

i think the beneficiary should present there. even if they allow ur brother to hand over the documents, i would still suggest that ur wife be present there personaly.

it elimintaes any doubts she may have regds the documentation, or take this way, its kind of preliminary interview

is it really a kind of preliminary interview

some consulates do have a preliminary interview i m not sure but canada can be one of them

does this vfs act as prelims interviews for indian consulates ?

nooo..sorry to confuse u...its not a interview at all..

my wife lost some tensions regarding the interview when she met these vfs ppl..so i was just trying to say it just acts as a step ahead

yepp i got it citizen !

    thx for u pdate

btw how many couples were attending intervew with thr spouses i was imagining this ?

    would like any inputs -

  8. hi everyone

i do not have any phone record but yes my hubby does have lot of hone records to my no...

whenever we submit relationship evidence can i sbmit his phone records to my phone number

will it feel weird by embasssy why i am submitting his details ,

coz i m thinking it will be very easy fo me to take out all the print out frm here n submit those too

my sound a weird question but i really didno have any phone record from my side prepaid system in india:(

You can use your hubby's phoen record that has your number in it. It is a proof that hubby calls you regularly and the Embassy won't ask you why you don't have your own phone record, i.e., your calls to USA. I sent my phone record to my wife and she was not asked anything about it. The consular officer just read some of our emails and smiled.

i can imagine whay the consular officer smiles readint the mailes the couples have

thank you so much dear mary , eileen and love (F)(F)(F):)

so for now i will be taking out his print outs from yahoomail , voipstunts and from www.joinvip.com

since we share same password for our all e mails n bankaccounts n all other things too i will be taking it out myself he doesnt have to work additional to send me those

    regards to all ,

    -Mala

Yup, that will work. My wife only called me a few times from India and I have no records of that but I do have about 230 pages worth of call history from 2006-2007. She is on her way for the medical and submit the paper work at VFS office now. Hope everything goes well!!

then can it affect the removal of conditions and d getting citizenship

should the beneficiarys address chane be reported
