AND I HAVE POSTED THOSE ERRORS IN MY PREVIOUS POSTS

BUT NOW MY QUESTION IS I DONT WANT MY HUSBAND TO FILL IN MY DETAILS HE IS TOTALLY IGNORNT IN FILLING FORMS N STUFFS

SO JUST ASKING IF I CHOOSE HIM THE CHOICE OF AGENT WHAT ACTUALLY HE HAS TO DO FROM MY SIDE ?

If at the time you thought that your father was dead then you told the truth, if a relative is now saying that he is alive then you are going to have to have proof of this, just go with what you originally said and no one will be any the wiser.

i was just thinking of my mistake in g-325 a form

my mom n dad had divorced long back just had got an idea recently tht he died so i put late in g- 325 a form with his name

but now in biographic form i dont wana put late coz i am not sure about his death at all as recently some relative told me he still is alive

my husband had told me to put late in g-325 a form

now wht do u think should i write late in my biographic form ds- 230 or go with not writing late along his name in ds-230

should i mention all this in a separate paper and send along with ds-230 ?

all my certificates have his name including mrriage certificate but nowhere is mentioned late except my husband made me write in g-325 form about late.

I am somewhat confused about the order we'll receive things. The Agent of Choice (my USC husband) will receive the DS-230 by the NVC and would have to send it to me to fill it out, right? But, I could also fill it out online, print it, and send it to him, right? Or do I have to keep it? Ahhh, confused

Yeah, same boat. My husband's application has been parked in Vermont since October 2006. Why has Vermont's processing date for the I-130 been stuck at March 2006 for four months?

am I correct in understanding that after the I-130 petition is sent to the NVC we have to appoint an agent to receive further documents? If my husband (the USC) has received all mail until then, who should we appoint as the agent? Would it make more sense to appoint me (the beneficiary) so that I receive all the mail?

I can't get the DS-230 coversheet to open

I didn't use Jame's shortcuts but from all the members who have used them........yes it works.

I just checked and could open it. It will ask you to save or open. If you click on open, you can have a look at it........or save it to your computer and open it from there. Its a pdf file.

i am unable to open or download the ds-230 u have put as shortcut

someone told me that the size a-4 size of paper in india is diffrt than in america so should i tell my husband to snail mail me a form ?

can somebody put an eye on where from to download the ds-230 form

also i heard that s a-4 paper size differs from indian a04 paper size so somebody just told me tht i should tell me husband right now to print out an a- 4 paper sized ds-230 and send me now so as to i ssave time for future.

Do you have all your vaccine shots done? You'll need a police certificate which can't be older than 6 months.

yes since i was a med student before i had got all vaccine shots done

but i dont have the details

i wil go to my med school n get those reports frm there or get myself revaccinated

not yet i havent got police certificates also

I thought that I would start a new thread since many of us have both I129F and I130, and aren't sure how or when the USCIS will be applying its new policy. I suppose petitions approved after 10/23 only would make sense, as that's when the policy was implemented.

Hopefully this will help us see what the USCIS is doing, and whether we can actually rely on what our NOA2's say. And whether or not we need to file the I824. Once people start having to file the I824, maybe we can include that too to see how long that takes.

Should I also include whether each person has an approved I129F?

I'll add more people later, since I'm working off of the I130 timeline, and not everyone's signature indicates whether they are pursuing both. Let me know if you want to be added, or if you know how to format, feel free to add yourself

I agree that visa cases with cross-ethnic couples and age difference (when the female is older) are discriminated against in India. I wonder if how many times the couple has met, how long they knew each other or lived together is factored in, at all? There hasn’t been much discussion about that here. I'm 16 years older than my fiancé and we are a cross-ethnic couple but have known each other for several years (we have snail mail letters from 2001 onwards), when I was living in India. Interview is April 13 in Chennai so let’s see what happens…

I am just so pissed right now. My visa, was denied under section 221 (G). I remember someone telling me it was an actual refusal but yeah.

Our case started all the way from june of last year. Our K1 Visa petition was approved on sept. 9 2006. Took them 3 damn month to schedule the interview on the 12th of december. I didn't get my visa because according to them, there was insufficient funds. Even though their own official website stated the fund I had was all right. Then I submitted all the modified information with more funds, including of course a joint sponsor. That was fine. I was so happy that I knew I was going to get my visa.

HECK NO!! They wanted to see more proof of our relationship. I was so pissed but put that aside and then ask mandi to send over all the proof we ever had. They wanted specifically to see 20 engagement guests, well we didn't really have an engagement party it was more of a family get together and we celebrated our engagement on that day. They wanted to see vendor lists, which again I didn't have. They wanted to see postmarked cards and actual letters. I mean c'mon, we are in the day of the internet. I submitted all phone bills relating to skype and how she used to call me on skype from an actual number. Emails were submitted. I spammed them with photographs. I send them documentation showing that we had bought an engagement ring. Showed them documentation proof that we went to places together. I submitted all that and maybe more.

TODAY!!!! It has not been approved. According to the sheet, the consular officer was not convinced of our relationship and has therefore sent it back to the NVC. They didn't say they needed more documents. They cannot revalidate the case. NOW WHAT DO I DO?

I want to appeal this ruling or whatever they chose. I also want to sue the New Delhi Embassy in INdia for being utterly stupid. Everything f**kin thing they wanted, they got. Everything!! Now they're trying to screw with us and sending it back to the NVC.

Guys, I'm sorry if this post is offensive to you but I am just so pissed right that I ready to freakin kill all those damn consular officers. I need to know how to appeal this. Also I want to know how/when I can sue them, the US government I guess. I will be taking the aid of a lawyer this time.

What reason do they give you when you call them? Seems almost like you're going through some type of security checks, which can happen I guess at any point in the process. There are other people who have been stuck at the same point and that is the reason for it. Historically though Vermont is the fastest service center to deal with. Good luck.

My spouses K3 was approved in Dec and is now in the US with me.

We decided to let both the K3 and CR1 keep moving (you can see from our timeline that they were both approved very close to each other).

K3 was the quickest option for us - especially as the I130 was slowed down at the NVC by the Holidays!

We were also advised that returing back for the CR1 would be quicker than AOS/EAD - which it looks like it has been!

Well now her interview has been scheduled in London for March 26th, we recieved Packet 4 but nothing regarding the medical.

Do we need to have a 2nd medical?? I can find any info regarding this.

We've tried calling the NVC and they pass us on to the London info line whcih we can't call from the US. Also called Knightsbridge doctors - they said call the embassy!

Please need any help! We can't be the 1st people going through this?

My husband has sent our I-130 petitions /for me an for our child/ at 15/02/07. He has sent as an evidence of ongoing marriage only the birth certificate of our child.

I think this is sufficient. What do you think. Is it necessary to send other proofs /photos, tickets and etc./ when we file for I-129F.

i think u need to send proof of marriage but , not sure

coz i never tried the i-129 route

but whatever the waiting will take anywhere 3-6 months for the noa-2

also you need to have all pics and all and marraige certificate for the real interview

why dont you send it before itself

i dunno much but feels like only birth certificate of child might not suffice the criterion for them

its better you call uscis toll free no. and verify
